Wɔ̃ Ɓaa Ya I Ge Ɓa Kɛɛ, E KƐ Zihova Zoda Wɔ̃ Ka

“Gikã sɔlɔɓoo zi lɛɛ gbɛ̃ tuo Zihova lɛɛ la, ɛ̃ɛ̃ Mi Lɛ Pulu Kpokpo Ɓoa dɔɔ laa kɛ ɓaa wɔ̃ yima.”PƆL. 9:10.

WHAT THE MAIN POINT?

We will learn how to use knowledge, understanding, and discernment to make good decisions.

1. Wɔ̃ gaa kpɛɛ lɛ e ɓɔ kɔa seĩ seĩ kɔa la?

WE CAN make decisions every day. Some of them can be easy to make, like what to eat in the morning or when to go to bed. But some decision dem can be hard to make. Why? Because maybe it will affect our health, our happiness, our family, or our worship. We want our decisions to benefit we and our family. But the most important one that for our decisions to make Jehovah happy.—Rom. 12:1, 2.

2. Mɛɛ wɔ̃ ni lɛ e bɛi gbũũ i mɔ kɛ i wɔ̃ i naa ɓa kɛɛ kɛ e kpeĩ ka?

2 It possible that you will make good decision if you (1) get all the information, (2) think on how Jehovah feel about the matter, and (3) look at the situation different-different way. This article will talk about this three thing dem, and it will also help us to see how we can think good-good before we make decision.—Prov. 2:11.

I WƆ̃ LƐ WANAZƐƐ DƆ

3. I pɛ e kɛ lɛ laa mɔ i wɔ̃ lɛ wanazɛɛ dɔ kɛ i tĩã wɔ̃ i naa ɓa kɛɛ kɛɛɛ gɔ̃a zɔ̃ɔ̃.

3 The first thing that can help us to make good decision that to get all the information. Why it important? Think about the patient who seriously sick and go to the doctor. You think the doctor will just give him treatment without checking him or asking him questions? No. That the same way you will make good decisions if you first get all the information about the matter. How you can do it?

4. Lɛ zi laa Pɔlɔvɛɛ 18:13 yia, zi kpɛɛ lɛ i bɛi a yidɔɔa kelɛ ii wana wɔ̃ɔ dɔ? (A bĩĩa gɛ̃ nɔ kili.)

4 Most of the time, you can get all the information by asking questions. Suppose somebody invite you to one get-together, you think you must go? If you not know who plan the get-together or how they plan it, you not think it will be good to ask the person this question dem: “Where this get-together will be and what time it will start? Plenty people will be there? Who will be over it? Who all will be there? What some thing dem they will be doing there? They will be having liquor there?” The answers to this question dem will help you to make good decision.—Read Proverbs 18:13.

Ask questions to get all the information (See paragraph 4) a

5. Mɛɛ wɔ̃ lɛ laa mɔ ɓa kɛ ye ɓaa wɔ̃ lɛ lɛ wanazɛɛ dɔɔ ka?

5 After you get all the information, think good-good about the whole situation. For example, suppose you know that people who not get respect for Bible advice will be to the get-together? Or you know that liquor will be there and nobody will control it? You think this get-together will turn to wild party or go out of hand? (1 Pet. 4:3) Suppose this get-together will make you to miss your congregation meeting or field service? When you get all the information about the situation, it will help you to make good decision. But you need to do another thing. You already na see the whole situation. But ask yourself: how Jehovah feel about it?—Prov. 2:6.

I ZIHOVA YƐLƐTAA YI WƆ̃ NAA ƁA DƆ

6. Lɛ zi a bɛ̃ɛ̃ lɛ a ka Zĩĩ 1:5 yia, mɛ e kɛ lɛ laa mɔ ko sɛnɛɓo Zihova la gbumɔ wɛĩ?

6 Ask Jehovah to help you understand how he feel about the matter. Jehovah promise to give us the wisdom to understand whether certain decision will make him happy. He can give that wisdom “generously to all and without reproaching.”—Read James 1:5.

7. Zi kpɛɛ lɛ i bɛi Zihova yɛlɛtaa yi wɔ̃ dɔɔa? A gɔ̃a zɔ̃ɔ̃.

7 After you pray to Jehovah for direction, try to see how he will answer you. For example, let say you going somewhere and you lost. Ehn you will ask somebody who living in that area to help you? Suppose the person coming answer you, you will just move from there and start going? No. You will listen good-good to the directions the person giving you. That the same way after you ask Jehovah for wisdom, try to see his answer by finding Bible laws and advice that apply to your situation. For example, when you thinking whether to go to the get-together that we talk about before, maybe you can think about what the Bible say about wild parties and going around bad friends. You must also think about putting God Kingdom first instead of your own feelings.—Matt. 6:33; Rom. 13:13; 1 Cor. 15:33.

8. Mɛɛ wɔ̃ lɛ i bɛia kɛɛ ye ɓaa gbumɔ naa kɛ i wɔ̃ ɓa naapia ɓa kɛɛ yimaa ka? (A bĩĩa gɛ̃ nɔ kili.)

8 Sometime you will still need help to find the information you looking for. Maybe you can ask one experience brother or sister for help. Beside that, you will also benefit from doing your own research. Our organization get plenty tools that you can use, like the Research Guide for Jehovah’s Witnesses and Scriptures for Christian Living. Remember, your goal that to make decision that will make Jehovah happy.

Think on how Jehovah feel about the matter (See paragraph 8) b

9. Zi kpɛɛ lɛ ko bɛi a yidɔɔa kelɛ wɔ̃ ko naa ko kɛɛ lɛɛ lo Zihova zodaa? (Ifisɔ̃ 5:17)

9 How we can be sure that our decision will make Jehovah happy? First, we need to know him good-good. The Bible say, “Knowledge of the Most Holy One is understanding.” (Prov. 9:10) Yes, true understanding can come from knowing Jehovah good-good ways, his purpose, and what he love or what he hate. Ask yourself, ‘Base on what I know about Jehovah, what decision I can make that will make him happy?’—Read Ephesians 5:17.

10. Mɛɛ e liewe kpo ni lɛ o Baabo yia kɛ kpanazɛ e diea ko mia ni zi wɔ̃-kɛ-kɔ wa sɛlɛ-yi-mia wa yiiɓo-kɔ nia la?

10 To make Jehovah happy, sometime we need to make decision that will make our family member dem to feel bad. For example, some parents can get good intention for their daughter. So maybe they will put pressure on her to marry rich man or somebody who will pay plenty money to dowry her even though he not strong in the truth. That true, they want their daughter to live good life. But she must ask herself: This man will help me to get strong friendship with Jehovah? How Jehovah feel about the matter? We can find the answer in Matthew 6:33. This verse encourage Christians to continue to “put the Kingdom first.” Even though we want respect our parents and the people in our community, our main concern must be to make Jehovah happy.

I YƐLƐTAA WƆ̃ E LO GOO A KOLO LAA KA YI

11. Mia yiikɔ kpɛɛ lɛ Felepĩã 1:9, 10 a gee lɛ e lo gbũũ i mɔ kɛ ii yɛlɛtaa wɔ̃ ni lɛ i naa ɓa kɛɛ yi?

11 After you finish finding Bible advice that can help you make your decision, you need to look at the situation different-different way. (Read Philippians 1:9, 10; see study note for “full discernment.”) Discernment will help you to know the result of each of the thing dem you want do. Sometime it can be easy to make decision. But not all decisions can be easy to make. Discernment will help you to make good decisions even if you confuse.

12-13. Zi kpɛɛ lɛ wɔ̃yimaa e bɛi gbũũa i mɔ kɛ i gikã kpeĩ kɛ pɛ naa yɛɓo naa yi?

12 Think about this situation. Let say you looking for work to support your family. Then you find two work. You think about all the information, like the type of work, the schedule, the time you will take to go to work, and so on. The two work not against the Bible. Maybe you like one of them because of the type of work or because you will get good pay. But you need to look at other thing dem before making decision.

13 For example, any of this work will make you to miss some of the meetings? Any of this work will not give you time to help your family to be happy and draw close to Jehovah? When you ask yourself question dem like this, it will help you to put “the more important things” first instead of money. And the more important things, that your friendship with God and taking care of your family. When you put “the more important things first, you will be able to make decision that Jehovah will bless.

14. Zi kpɛɛ lɛ wɔ̃yimaa wa lɔkɛamɔ zɔ̃ɔ̃ e gbũa ko mɔ yekɛ ko kɛ mia ye o toa o pele?

14 Discernment can also make us to think on how our decision will affect other people, so we can’t stumble them. (Phil. 1:10) This one important when we making decisions about what to wear and how to fix our hair or beard. For example, maybe we like certain kindna clothes or we like to fix our hair or beard certain way. But suppose other people not feeling good about it. Discernment will help us to respect their feelings. Love will make us to respect their feelings and be modest in the way we dress. (1 Cor. 10:23, 24, 32; 1 Tim. 2:9, 10) When we think good-good, it will help us to make decision that will show love and respect for other people.

15. Ye ɓaa kɛ wɔ̃ kpanazɛ do yapia i ge ɓa kɛɛ, mɛ wɔ̃ lɛ i bɛi i yɛlɛtaa a yi?

15 If you want make important decision, think about all the thing dem you can do to make that decision work. Jesus say we must “calculate the expense.” (Luke 14:28) So think about the time, the thing dem you will need, and the effort you will make to make your decision work. Sometime, you can even talk with your family to know what each of them can do to support the decision. Why this kindna planning important? Maybe it will help you to know that you need to make some changes, or that you need to make different decision that will be better. If you ask your family member dem and listen to what they will say, it will be easy for them to help you to make your decision work.—Prov. 15:22.

WƆ̃ I KƆ E BƐIA MƆƆ YA I GE ƁA KƐ

16. Mɛɛ wɔ̃ ni lɛ e lo gbũũ i mɔ kɛ i kɔ e bɛi wɔ̃ i loa kɛɛ mɔ? (I gbɔlɔ e kea gɛ̃ “ Zi I Bɛi Gikã Kpeĩ Kɛɛ A Kaa.”)

16 If you do all the thing dem we talk about, you ready now to make good decision. You get all the information and the Bible advice that will help you make decision that will make Jehovah happy. Then now you can ask Jehovah to help you make your decision work.

17. Mɛɛ wɔ̃ kpokpo lɛ e lo gbũũ i mɔ i gikã kpeĩ kɛ?

17 Even if you been making good decisions before, remember the main thing that can help you to make good decisions, that to depend on Jehovah and not on yourself. That only him can give you true knowledge, understanding, and discernment, and that this thing dem can give you wisdom. (Prov. 2:1-5) Jehovah can help you to make decisions that will make him happy.—Ps. 23:2, 3.
