Abantu. ‘Ezinsukwini zikaNowa, abantu [psy·kheʹ] abalutshwana kuphela, abaficamibili bebonke, basiliswa ngamanzi.’ (1 UPhetro 3:20) Evesini leli kuyacaca ukuthi ibala elithi “psy·kheʹ” litsho abantu: uNowa, umkakhe, amadodana akhe amathathu labomkabo. U-Eksodusi 16:16 ukhuluma ngemilayo eyaphiwa ama-Israyeli mayelana lokubutha imana. Batshelwa ukuthi, ‘bathathele umuntu [neʹphesh] ngamunye osethenteni labo.’ Ngakho imana elalibuthwa lalihambelana lenani labantu emulini ngayinye. UJehova watshela uMosi ukuthi: “Bonke abantu ababefuna ukukubulala [“ababezingela umphefumulo wakho” (neʹphesh), NW] sebafa.” (U-Eksodusi 4:19) Izitha zikaMosi zazifuna ukwenzani? Zazizingela impilo kaMosi. Ukuqhubeka ufunda iLizwi likaNkulunkulu kuzakutshengisa ukuthi emavesini wonke eBhayibhili akula ndawo okutholakala khona ibala elithi neʹphesh lelithi psy·kheʹ lihambelana lelithi “ukungafi” kumbe “ubuphakade.” Kodwa iMibhalo ithi umphefumulo uyafa. (UHezekheli 18:4, 20) ULevi 21:11 uthi, “Kamelanga angene lapho okulesidumbu [“umphefumulo ofileyo” (neʹphesh), NW] khona.”

Khathesi ake sixoxe ngokuthi ibala elithi “umoya” lahunyutshwa njani eBhayibhilini. Abanye abantu bacabanga ukuthi “umoya” ngelinye ibala nje elitsho “umphefumulo.” Kodwa lokhu kakuqondanga. IBhayibhili liyakucacisa ukuthi “umoya” “lomphefumulo” ngamabala amabili atsho izinto ezehlukeneyo. Njani?

Abalobi beBhayibhili babesebenzisa ibala lesiHebheru elithi ruʹach kumbe elesiGiriki elithi pneuʹma lapho bebhala mayelana “lomoya.” IMibhalo yona ngokwayo iyakutshengisa ukuthi amabala la atshoni. Ngokwesibonelo iHubo 104:29 lithi: “Nxa [Jehova] ususa umoya [ruʹach] wazo ziyafa, zibuyele othulini ezavela kulo.” (The Holy Bible in Ndebele) UJakhobe 2:26 laye uthi “umzimba ongelamoya [pneuʹma] ufile.” Ngakho emavesini la ibala elithi ruʹach lelithi pneuʹma atsho lokho okwenza umzimba uphile. Nxa umzimba ungelamoya kumbe umoya wokuphila, uyabe ufile. Ngokwesibonelo, mayelana loZamcolo owabakhona ngesikhathi sikaNowa, uNkulunkulu wathi: “Ngizathumela uzamcolo wamanzi emhlabeni ukubhubhisa konke okuphilayo ngaphansi kwezulu, zonke izidalwa eziphefumulayo [“ezilomoya” (ruʹach), NW].” (UGenesisi 6:17; 7:15, 22) Yikho-ke, ibala elithi ruʹach litsho amandla angabonakaliyo aphilisa zonke izidalwa eziphilayo.

Umphefumulo lomoya kwehlukene. Kudingeka umoya ukuze umzimba uphile njengoba nje irediyo layo idinga amagetsi ukuze isebenze. Ukuze kucace lokhu, cabanga ngerediyo encane. Nxa ungafaka amabhathri erediyweni leyo, ubusuyilayitha, singathi umlilo oyabe usemabhathrini la yiwo owenza ukuthi irediyo isebenze kumbe iphile. Nxa irediyo ingasela mabhathri, ayisebenzi kumbe singathi ifile. Lokhu kunjalo langerediyo esebenza ngegetsi, layo iyabe ingasasebenzi nxa ingasaxhunywanga egetsini. Ngendlela efananayo, umoya ngamandla enza ukuthi umzimba wethu uphile. Okunye yikuthi njengamagetsi, umoya awulamizwa njalo awungeke ucabange. Ungamandla nje kuphela. Kodwa nxa umoya kumbe amandla okuphila ungasekho, imizimba yethu ‘iyafa, ibuyele othulini eyavela kulo,’ njengoba umhubi watsho.

Umbhalo kamTshumayeli 12:7 nxa ukhuluma ngokufa komuntu uthi: “Lothuli [umzimba wakhe] lungakabuyeli emhlabathini lapho lwavela khona, lomoya [ruʹach] ubuyela kuNkulunkulu owawunikayo.” (The Holy Bible in Ndebele) Nxa umoya [amandla okuphila] uphuma emzimbeni, umzimba uyafa ubusubuyela lapho owavela khona, emhlabathini. Ngendlela efananayo, amandla okuphila abuyela kuNkulunkulu, lapho avela khona. (UJobe 34:14, 15; IHubo 36:9) Lokhu akutsho ukuthi amandla okuphila aya ezulwini. Kodwa kutsho ukuthi nxa umuntu angafa, ithemba lokuthi angaphinda aphile ngesikhathi esizayo liyabe selikuJehova. Singathi uNkulunkulu nguye kuphela ongamvusa. UNkulunkulu nguye kuphela ongafaka umoya kumbe amandla okuphila emuntwini esebenzisa amandla akhe, ukuze umuntu aphile futhi.

Kuyaduduza kakhulu ukwazi ukuthi lokhu yikho kanye uNkulunkulu azakwenza kulabo abasekuphumuleni ‘emathuneni’! (UJohane 5:28, 29) Nxa uJehova esevusa abafileyo, uzabumba umzimba omutsha womuntu oyabe efile, abesewenza uphile ngokufaka umoya kumbe amandla okuphila kuwo. Kuzaba yisikhathi sokuthokoza okukhulu!
