Ukuhlaliswa kwegama elithi asher kabutjha kuqinisekisa ithemba uDavida ebekanalo lokuthi ngemva kobona uJehova atjhaphulule ama-Israyeli emanabenawo, bekazowabusisa ngokuthi athabe begodu aphumelele. (Lev. 26:9, 10; Dut. 7:13; Rhu. 128:1-6) Isibonelo salokho ngilesi esikuDuteronomi 28:4 nakathi: “Kuzakubusiswa iimbeletho zenu, iinthelo zequlwanenu, inzalo yeenlwana zenu: Iinkomo, izimvu neembuzi zenu zizakwanda.” Lokho kwenzeka ngesikhathi kubusa indodana kaDavida uSolomoni, isitjhaba sabantu bakaZimu saba nokuthula okukhulu begodu saphumelela.
