VaRoma 13:1-14

13  Mweya yose ngaizviise pasi+ pevanhu vane masimba makuru,+ nokuti hapana munhu ane masimba+ asina kubvumirwa naMwari;+ vanhu vane masimba varipo vakaiswa munzvimbo dzavo dzine mwero+ naMwari.+  Naizvozvo uyo anoshora munhu ane masimba anorwisana nezvakarongwa naMwari; vaya vanorwisana nazvo vachatongwa.+  Nokuti vaya vanotonga havatyiwi nokuda kwebasa rakanaka, asi rakaipa.+ Saka, unoda kuti urege kutya munhu ane masimba here? Ramba uchiita zvakanaka,+ uye iye achakurumbidza;  nokuti iye mushumiri waMwari kwauri kuti zvikunakire.+ Asi kana uchiita zvakaipa,+ itya: nokuti haabati bakatwa pasina; nokuti iye mushumiri waMwari, mutsivi+ anoratidza hasha dzaMwari kumunhu ane tsika yokuita zvakaipa.  Naizvozvo pane chikonzero chinogombedzera chokuti muzviise pasi, kwete chete nokuda kwehasha idzodzo asiwo nokuda kwehana yenyu.+  Ndokusaka muchiterawo mitero; nokuti ivo vashandi vaMwari vanoshandira vanhu vose,+ vachishanda nguva dzose nokuda kwaizvozvi.  Ipai vose zvakavakodzera, kune anorayira mutero, mutero;+ kune anorayira muripo, muripo; kune anorayira kutyiwa, kutyiwa+ kwakadaro; kune anorayira kukudzwa, kukudzwa+ kwakadaro.  Musambova nechikwereti chero nomunhu upi zvake,+ kunze kwokudanana;+ nokuti iye anoda mumwe wake azadzika mutemo.+  Nokuti bumbiro remitemo rinoti, “Usaita upombwe,+ Usaponda,+ Usaba,+ Usachochora,”+ uye mimwe mirayiro yose iripo, inobatanidzwa mushoko iri rokuti, “Ida muvakidzani wako sezvaunozviita.”+ 10  Rudo+ haruitiri muvakidzani zvakaipa;+ naizvozvo rudo kuzadzika kwomutemo.+ 11  Itaiwo izvi, nokuti munoziva mwaka, kuti yatova awa yokuti mumuke+ pahope, nokuti zvino ruponeso rwedu rwava pedyo kupfuura panguva yatakava vatendi.+ 12  Usiku hwafamba; kwava kuda kuedza.+ Naizvozvo ngatibvisei mabasa erima+ uye ngatishongei zvombo+ zvechiedza. 13  Ngatifambei zvakakodzera sokunge kuti masikati,+ kwete mumitambo yemafaro akanyanyisa uye kunwira kudhakwa,+ kwete muunzenza hwepabonde uye kusazvibata,+ kwete mukukakavadzana+ negodo. 14  Asi pfekai Ishe Jesu Kristu,+ uye musafanorongera kuchiva kwenyama.+
