JW LIBRARY
Set and Manage Bookmarks—iOS
The bookmark feature of JW Library lets you save your place in any publication, just as you would use a ribbon to save your place in a printed book. Each publication in JW Library has its own set of 10 bookmarks.
Follow these instructions to use bookmarks:
Set a New Bookmark
You can bookmark an article or chapter, or you can bookmark a specific paragraph or Bible verse.
To bookmark an article or chapter, tap the Bookmark button. A list opens, showing bookmarks for the current publication. Tap an empty item to bookmark the current article or chapter.
To bookmark a specific paragraph or Bible verse, first tap the text, then tap the Bookmark button on the context menu.
Go to a Bookmark
To go to a bookmark, open the publication that contains the bookmark, then tap the Bookmark button. Tap the bookmark you want to see.
Manage Your Bookmarks
Once a bookmark has been set, you can delete or replace it.
To delete a bookmark, tap the Bookmark button, then swipe the bookmark you want to delete. Tap the Delete button.
To replace a bookmark, tap the Bookmark button, then swipe the bookmark you want to replace. Tap the Replace button. The bookmark is updated with your current place. This can be useful for saving your place in a publication as you read it. For example, you can keep track of your daily Bible reading.
These features were released in May 2014 with JW Library 1.2, which is compatible with iOS 6.0 or later. If you don’t see these features, please follow the instructions in the article “Start Using JW Library—iOS,” under Get the Latest Features.
