The Bible has been translated into about 2,600 languages, and billions of copies have been printed. It gives us information that we cannot find anywhere else. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 The Author of the Bible is God. 2 Peter 1:21 God guided men to express his thoughts. 2 THE BIBLE IS A BOOK OF PROPHECY “God . . . cannot lie.”—Titus 1:2 Why can you trust the Bible? Isaiah 44:27–45:2 Hundreds of years before it happened, the Bible prophesied how Babylon would be conquered. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 Bible prophecies are being fulfilled now.
