Them born me for La Ceiba, Honduras, we be five children and na me be last born and the only boy. Na only me be deaf for my family. Me and my family de live for area way bad people plenty well-well and we dey very poor. After my papa die for accident for work, life come hard for us more-more and that time I dey around four years.

 My mama try e best to care for me and my sisters, but my mama no de get enough money to buy cloth for me. Anytime wey rain fall cold de catch me because I no get better cloth to cover my body.

 As I de grow up, I learn Honduras Sign Language (LESHO), this one help me so that I go fit de talk to other deaf people. My mama and my sisters no sabi Honduras Sign Language (LESHO). But them de use hand to sign small to fit talk with me. The truth be say my mama love me well-well and de try to protect me from dangers. So with the small sign wey e sabi e de use-am warn me make I no do bad things like to de smoke, and to de over drink. Because of this one I dey happy say as I de grow, I no ever get any drug or alcohol wey be say if I no take-am I no fit dey okay.

 When I still dey young, my mama de carry me go Catholic Church, but I no de understand anything because nobody fit use sign language tell me wetin them de talk. The thing tire me sotey when I dey ten years I stop to de go church. But I still want to know more about God.

 For 1999 when I dey 23 years, I meet one woman wey come from United States wey de attend evangelical church. E show me some Bible lesson and teach me American Sign Language (ASL). The thing wey I learn for Bible sweet me sotey I tell myself say I go be pastor. So I travel go Puerto Rico to attend one Christian training for deaf people. When I come back to La Ceiba for 2002, with the help wey I receive from my friends, I open my own church for deaf people. I later marry one of my friends, wey im name na Patricia.

 Since I be pastor for my church, I de preach with Honduras Sign Language (LESHO). I de show plenty Bible story pictures when I de preach, and I de even act-am like drama make deaf people fit understand. I still visit deaf people for the next community make I fit encourage them and help them with their problems. I even travel like missionary go United States and Zambia. But the truth be say, I no really know Bible. I only tell them the things wey them tell me and wetin I understand from the pictures. True-true, I get many questions pass answer.

 One day, some people wey dey my church start to talk things wey no be true about me. Them talk say I de over drink and say I de sleep with women wey no be my wife. I no expect say them go talk that kind thing, I really vex. E no tey me and Patricia comot from the church

 Jehovah Witness people de always try to preach to me and my wife, but we no de listen to them. But after we don comot from our church, my wife come agree to study Bible with one Jehovah Witness husband and wife wey their name na Thomas and Liccy. I really happy say them sabi sign language even though say them no be deaf. Small time, I join my wife for the study.

 We use videos for ASL study for some months. But some of my friends come talk say Jehovah Witness people de teach the idea of men, so because of this one, I no come de study Bible again. Even though Thomas prove-am give me say Jehovah Witness people no de follow human being as their leader, I no still believe-am.

 After some months, Patricia come get one kind sickness wey de make-am really feel sad, and Patricia pray make God help-am bring Jehovah Witness people come our house again. E no tey, one of our neighbor wey be Jehovah Witness come our house and ask my wife whether e go want make Liccy visit-am again. Liccy show say e be better friend. E de visit Patricia every week and de encourage and study Bible with-am. But I still get plenty doubt about Jehovah Witness people for my mind.

 For 2012, Jehovah Witness people do one special campaign to share the video wey the title na Would You Like to Know the Truth? for Honduras Sign Language (LESHO). Liccy give us the video, as I watch-am finish e surprise me to know say the things wey I believe and de teach about hellfire and say soul no de die no dey for Bible.

 After that week, I go the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness make I fit talk with Thomas. I tell-am say I want de teach deaf people the truth from Bible, but no be as Jehovah Witness. My plan na to form my own different church for deaf people. Thomas thank me for the better mind wey I get, e come show me Ephesians 4:​5, wey talk say true Christian Congregation go de do things with as one.

 Thomas still give me the video wey the title na, Jehovah’s Witnesses​—Faith in Action, Part 1: Out of Darkness for ASL. The video de show how some men come together to study Bible well and understand the important truth wey Bible de teach. As I de watch the video, I understand how the men feel. Like this men na so I look for the truth. The video make me dey sure say Jehovah Witness people de teach the truth because everything wey them de teach dey for Bible. So I come start to study Bible again, for 2014, me and Patricia baptize as Jehovah Witness.

 I like Jehovah Witness people because them de live clean life, just as God dey clean. The things wey them de talk and do with other people dey clean. Them de make peace with everybody and de encourage each other. Them get one mind and de teach the same Bible truth, even though say them no come from one country, and no be one language them de speak.

 I de enjoy to learn wetin Bible de teach. For example, I don learn say Jehovah be the Almighty God’ wey get the right to rule heaven and earth. E love everybody whether you be deaf or you no be deaf. I happy say God love me. I don still learn say the earth go be beautiful paradise wey all of us go get the chance to live forever and enjoy life with strong body. E de really hungry me to see when all this promise go happen.

 Me and Patricia de like to talk to deaf people about the Bible. Now we de study Bible with some members of our former church wey I de go before. But I no get question again about wetin I de teach, like I de do before when I be pastor. At last, I don get answers to all my questions as I study Bible with Jehovah Witness people.
