First Peter 3:1-22
3 For the same way, una wey be wife, make una put unaself under una husbands, so that if any of them no de obey the word of God, una better character fit make them change even if una no talk anything,
2 because them don see say una de live clean life and get deep respect.
3 Make wetin de make una fine no be only wetin eye fit see, like, to braid hair, to wear things wey them make with gold, or fine cloths,
4 but make e be the kind person wey una be for inside.* Because of this one, make una dey quiet and get cool mind, and this one be like dressing wey no fit spoil, wey get high value for God eye.
5 Because na like this the holy women for olden days wey put their hope for God take make theirself fine as them be de put theirself under their husbands,
6 just as Sarah obey Abraham and be de call-am my lord. Una go be im children if una continue to do good and una no de fear.
7 For the same way, una wey be husband, make the way una de treat una wife as una de live together de show say una understand them well. Them no strong reach una, them be like something wey dey easy to break, so make una honor them, because God go still bless them with the same special favor of life like una. Make una do this one so that nothing go block una prayer.
8 The last one be say, make all of una get one mind, de feel for each other, de love each other like people for the same family, de really pity for each other and de carry body down.
9 Make una no pay bad with bad or insult person wey insult una. Instead, pay the person back with blessing because na wetin God choose una make una do be this, so that e go bless una.
10 Because if anybody love im life, and e want make life better for-am, e must control im tongue make e no de talk bad thing, and make e no de talk wetin go deceive people.
11 Make e stop to do bad thing, and de do good thing. Make e try to de do wetin go bring peace and de make peace dey.*
12 Because Jehovah eyes dey for where righteous people dey, and im ears de hear the prayer wey them de pray with all their heart. But the face of Jehovah dey against people wey de do bad things.
13 Who go fit really do una bad if una de use all una heart de do wetin good?
14 But, even if una suffer because una de do wetin correct for God eye, una go happy. But make una no fear wetin people de fear,* and make e no worry una.
15 But make una believe for una heart say, Christ na Lord and say e dey holy. And make una always ready to answer anybody wey ask una question about the hope wey una get, but make una de do-am with cool mind and deep respect.
16 Make una continue to get clean conscience,* so that no matter the kind bad things wey them talk about una, this people wey de talk-am go shame because of the better character wey una get as people wey de follow Christ.
17 E better for una to suffer because una de do good, if God allow-am, than for una to suffer because una de do bad.
18 Because even Christ wey be righteous person die once and for all for people wey no dey righteous, to save them from sin so that e go fit bring una back to God. Na human being e be when them kill-am, but God raise-am up as spirit.
19 And as e dey like this, e go tell the angels wey them put for prison the judgment wey de wait for them.
20 This angels disobey God for the time of Noah, when God sofri de wait as them de build the ark, wey carry small number of people wey be eight souls* and save them from the water.
21 Baptism wey be something like this, na im still de save una now. And this one dey possible because God bring Jesus Christ back to life. Baptism no be to wash dirty comot from body, but na to beg God make e help person get clean conscience.
22 As Jesus Christ go heaven, e dey for the right hand side of God, and God put angels and all those wey get authority and power under-am.
