2  My brothers, true-true una know say our visit to una bring result.  Even though say we first suffer and them treat us anyhow for Phi·lip′pi as una know, our God help us make we no fear* to tell una the good news of God even as people give us plenty trouble.*  The thing wey we encourage una to do no come from lie-lie things or from wetin no clean, or no be because we want deceive una.  But since God don decide to put the good news for our hand, we no de talk to make people happy but na to make God happy, the Person wey de check our heart.  True-true, una know say we no ever use sweet mouth to overpraise people or de pretend to be who we no be because of long throat, God know this one!  And we no ever try to get praise from people, whether na from una or from other people, even though say as apostles of Christ, we get the right to make una overspend to care for us.*  Instead, we dey gentle when we dey with una just as mama wey still de breastfeed im pikin de sofri take care of* im own children.  So because of the deep love wey we get for una, we tell ourself* say we no go only give una the good news of God, but we go still give una our life,* because una don make us love una no be small.  True-true my brothers, una remember our hard work and our struggle. We work day and night, so that we no go make any of una overspend to care for us when we preach the good news of God to una. 10  Una wey believe the good news know this one and God still know about how we dey faithful, we do the correct thing for im eye, and nobody fit talk bad about how we behave when we dey with una. 11  Una really know say we continue to encourage and comfort una and de advice each of una just as papa de do for im children, 12  so that una go fit continue to live una life for way wey God want. Na God be the Person wey de call una to im Kingdom and honor. 13  True-true, na this one be the reason why we never stop to thank God, because when una receive the word of God wey una hear from us, una no accept-am as word from people, but una accept-am as the word of God, and na so e be true-true, and e still de work for inside una wey believe the good news. 14  My brothers, una follow the example of the congregations of God for Ju·de′a, wey be one with Christ Jesus, because una own country people make una to suffer for the same way wey Jew people de suffer the brothers for Ju·de′a. 15  Na them even kill the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and them suffer us. Another thing na say, them no de do wetin God like, and the things wey them de do no good for anybody, 16  as them de try to stop us make we no preach to people of the nations to help this people get life. As them de do this one, them de continue to add to their sins. But God don really vex for them at last. 17  But my brothers, when people make us separate from* una for just short time, (na face-to-face but no be for our heart), we do everything wey we fit do to see una face-to-face because e de really hungry us to see una. 18  Na this one make us want come see una. True-true me Paul, try to come, no be just once but two times, but Satan block road for us. 19  Wetin be our hope or joy or crown wey go make us happy for front of our Lord Jesus when e go dey around? No be una? 20  True-true, na una de bring us honor and joy.
