  • Make slaves de respect their oga (1, 2)

  • Lie-lie teachers and to like money too much (3-10)

  • Direction for man of God (11-16)

  • Do plenty-plenty better things (17-19)

  • Protect wetin them don put for your hand (20, 21)

6  Make people wey be slave* de see their oga* as people wey them suppose respect with all their heart, so that people no go ever talk bad about the name of God and the things wey we de teach about God.  Apart from that one, make people wey their oga* de serve God no de do strong head for them just because them be brothers. Instead, make them dey ready to work more, because the people wey de gain from their good work na brothers wey de serve God with them and wey them love. Make you continue to teach them this things and de use-am encourage them.  If anybody de teach lie-lie teaching and the person no agree with the better direction* wey I don give, wey come from our Lord Jesus Christ, or e no agree with the teaching wey de show us how to serve God well,  this person de carry body up and e no understand anything. E de always like* to argue and e no de agree with people about words. This things de cause bad belle, fight-fight, e de make person lie to spoil the name of another person,* e de make person no trust people,  e de make people wey their mind don spoil and wey no understand the truth again to always de argue about small-small matter, and them de think say to serve God na way to get gain for theirself.  True-true, plenty gain dey when person de serve God well and if the things wey e get dey enough for-am.*  We no bring anything come this world, and we no go fit carry anything comot.  So, if we get food to chop* and cloth to wear,* we go dey okay with this things.  But people wey don make up their mind to dey rich, de fall inside temptation and trap and plenty useless and bad things wey their body want, wey de push people to damage their life and bring death for theirself. 10  To like money too much de cause* different-different kind of bad things, and because some people don de like money too much, this one don make them comot from the faith and them don chuk-chuk theirself with plenty pain. 11  But you wey be man of God, run from this things. Instead, make you try to always do the correct thing, de serve God well, get faith, de love, de endure, and dey gentle for heart. 12  Fight the fine fight of the faith, hold the life wey no go end tight wey God call you for, and wey you don talk about for fine way for front of plenty people. 13  For front of God wey de make everything dey alive, and for front of Christ Jesus wey talk about im faith well to Pontius Pilate for public, I de tell you say 14  make you obey the commandment for clean way and for way wey nobody go fit talk bad about you, until when our Lord Jesus Christ go show imself clear. 15  When the time reach, the happy and only Ruler go show imself clear. E be the King of people wey de rule as kings and Lord of people wey de rule as lords, 16  the only person wey no fit die, wey de live for light wey nobody fit reach, the person wey nobody don see or fit see. Make e get honor and everlasting power. Amen. 17  Tell* people wey dey rich for the world of our time* make them no carry body up* and make them no de put their hope for money wey fit go anytime. Instead, make them de put their hope for God wey de open hand give us all the things wey we de enjoy. 18  Tell them to do good work, to do plenty-plenty better things, to get open hand,* dey ready to give people things. 19  And make them de keep wetin get value for theirself, wey be better foundation for the future, so that them go fit hold the real life tight. 20  Timothy, make you protect wetin them don put for your hand. No listen to empty talk wey dey against holy things, and to ideas wey come from people wey think say them know something, but the thing wey them know na opposite of wetin dey correct. 21  Because some people de show theirself say them know this kind things, them don comot from the faith. Make the special favor of God dey with una.
