Second Thessalonians 2:1-17
2 But now my brothers, una know say our Lord Jesus Christ go dey around, and say we go gather together go meet-am. So we de beg una say
2 make una no shake quick-quick for the way wey una de reason, or de worry if anybody talk say the day of Jehovah don come, whether them say na message from God,* or una hear-am from anybody, or them claim say na from letter wey we write.
3 Make nobody deceive una for any way, because before that day go come, some people go first turn against true worship, and the man wey dey against law wey be the person wey God go destroy, go come out.
4 This man na enemy, and e de carry imself up pass anybody wey people de call god or anything wey them de worship.* Because of this one, e sitdown for the temple of God and de show imself as god for public.
5 Una no remember say when I still dey with una, I de tell una this things?
6 And now, una know wetin de hold this man so that e no go come out until im time reach.
7 True-true, the secret things wey this man wey dey against law de do don already de work, and e go continue to be secret until the person wey de hold-am now, no dey again.
8 Then, the man wey dey against law go come out. When the Lord Jesus show imself clear say e dey around, e go use the spirit of im mouth remove this man and finish-am.
9 But the man wey dey against law go use power from Satan to show imself. And e go do plenty miracles, lie-lie signs, and wonderful things.
10 And e go use everything wey no correct to deceive people. All this things go happen to the people wey God go destroy as punishment, because them no accept and like the truth so that God go fit save them.
11 Because of this one, God allow make them use lie-lie deceive them so that them go fit believe the lie.
12 Na this one go make God judge all of them, because them no believe the truth, but them de happy to do wetin no correct for God eye.
13 But, my brothers wey Jehovah love, we de always make sure say we thank God for una, because from the beginning, God don choose una to save una. E do this one as e use im spirit to make una dey holy and because of una faith for the truth.
14 God use the good news wey we de preach to call una, so that una go fit get the honor of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 So my brothers, make una stand strong and continue to follow the things* wey we teach una, whether na for mouth or for letter wey we write.
16 God our Papa love us, and because of im special favor, e give us better hope and comfort wey no de end. So we de pray say make God and our Lord Jesus Christ
17 comfort una heart and help una to stand well* for every good thing wey una de do and de talk.
