Second Timothy 3:1-17
3 But know say for last days, serious hard time wey no go dey easy to handle, go dey.
2 People go de love theirself, go like money too much, go de make mouth, go de think say them better pass other people, go de talk bad about God,* no go de obey papa and mama, no go de talk thank you, no go de hold people* tight,
3 them no go get normal human feeling for people, them no go want get any agreement with people, go de lie to spoil the name of another person, no go de control theirself, them go really wicked, them go hate good thing,
4 them go turn against their friends, them go de do strong-head, them go de carry body up, them go like enjoyment instead of to love God,
5 them go de pretend say them de serve God, but them no de show-am for the way them de live their life. Run from this kind people.
6 Some men go come out from among this ones and them go use style enter families and catch weak women wey sin don press, wey de do different-different things wey their body want.
7 Them de always learn but them no de fit understand the correct teaching wey be the truth.
8 Just as Janʹnes and Jamʹbres dey against Moses, na so this people still continue to dey against the truth. The mind wey this kind men get don spoil finish, and God no accept them because them de do wetin dey against the faith.
9 But, them no go go far pass where them don reach. And everybody go see-am clear say them dey foolish, just as e happen to Janʹnes and Jamʹbres.
10 But you don really follow the things wey I teach, the way I live my life, the same plans wey I make for life, my faith, the way I dey patient, my love, the way I endure,
11 the suffer wey I face from people, and the things wey I suffer just as e happen to me for Antioch, for I·coʹni·um, and for Lysʹtra. I endure all this suffer from people, and the Lord save me from all of them.
12 The truth na say, all the people wey want serve God well as people wey de follow Christ Jesus go still face suffer from people.
13 But wicked people and people wey de pretend go de worse more-more, them go de deceive people and people go deceive them.
14 But make you continue to do this things wey you don learn and wey them make you believe, because you know who you learn this things from
15 and from small pikin you don know the holy things wey them write, wey go fit make you get sense so that God go save you because of the faith wey you get for Christ Jesus.
16 Everything wey them write for the Word of God, na God use im spirit direct-am and e good to use-am teach, to correct person, to make things straight,* and to train* person to do the correct thing for God eye,
17 so that person wey de serve God, go fit qualify well and get everything wey e need to do every good work.
