Ephesians 4:1-32
4 So me wey be prisoner for the Lord, de beg una say, make una continue to live una life for way wey show say una qualify for the call wey them call una.
2 As una de do this one, make una really carry body down* and dey gentle for heart, dey patient, make love make una de bear wetin una do each other,
3 de really try to do una best to maintain the one mind from the spirit with the peace wey de hold people together as one.
4 Na only one body dey, and one spirit, just as na only one hope dey wey God call una for;
5 na one Lord dey, one faith, one baptism;
6 one God and Papa of everybody,* wey big pass everybody* and de use everybody* do work and de work for inside everybody.*
7 Now God don give each of us special favor according to how Christ don measure the free gift.
8 The word of God talk say: “When e go up-up, e carry slaves go, e give men as gifts.”
9 Now wetin e mean when them talk say “e go up-up”? This one no mean say e don first come down-down wey be the earth?
10 The person wey come down na still the person wey go up pass all the heavens, so that e go fit complete everything.
11 And e give some of them as apostles, some as prophets, some as preachers,* some as shepherds and teachers,
12 so that them go help the holy ones to dey the correct way,* them go work to help other people, them go make the body of Christ dey strong,
13 and them go do this one until all of us don get the one mind* for the faith and for the correct teaching about the Son of God to grow reach mature person, and mature reach complete level like Christ.
14 So make we no continue to be children and de follow the teaching from people wey de trick other people and de use cunning-cunning deceive people, so that we no go be like boat for sea wey breeze and wave de carry up and down.
15 But as we de talk truth, make we de grow to mature for everything with love, to live the life wey agree with Christ wey be the head.
16 From Christ the whole body dey together as one and de work as one, with the help of every joint wey de give wetin the body need. When each part de work well, this one de make the body de grow as e de make imself strong with love.
17 So this one na wetin I de tell una and de really encourage una for the name of the Lord, say make una stop to do things just as people of the nations de do, for the useless things* wey them de think.
18 Them dey darkness for the way them de think and them no dey part of the life wey God de give, because them no know anything, because their heart no de feel anything.*
19 Them no de care again about wetin good or bad, them allow theirself to open eye de do bad thing with no shame,* to de do different kind of things wey no clean with long throat.
20 But una no learn say na so Christ be,
21 if true-true, una don hear Christ and una learn from-am, because truth dey inside Jesus.
22 Them teach una to troway the old character wey be like the old way wey una de behave and wey de spoil, because of the bad things wey the old character want wey de deceive una.
23 And make una continue to make the way una de think* dey new,
24 and make una wear the new character wey God don make just as e want-am, and wey agree with wetin really correct for God eye and dey faithful.
25 So, now wey una don comot hand from lie-lie things, make each of una de talk truth with im neighbor, because we dey part of each other.
26 Una fit vex, but make una no sin; make una no allow sun go down when una still de vex;
27 make una no give Devil chance.*
28 Make the person wey de thief stop to thief; instead, make e do hard work, make e de do good work with im hand, so that e go fit get something to share with person wey no get.
29 Make rotten word no come out from una mouth, but make una word be only wetin dey good to encourage people when need dey, to benefit people wey de hear-am.
30 And make una no de make God holy spirit de feel sad,* wey God use stamp una until the day wey the price wey them pay go free una.
31 Make una remove from unaself every kind of strong bad belle, vex, hot temper, shout-shout, and curse-curse, with every bad thing wey fit bring damage.
32 But make una dey kind to each other, de really show pity, de forgive each other with all una heart just as God don forgive una with all im heart because of Christ.
