10  After this things, the Lord come choose 70 other people and send them comot two by two, so that them go first-am go every city and place wey e go later go.  Then e tell them say: “True-true, things to harvest plenty but workers no plenty, so make una beg the Master of the harvest make e send workers go harvest im things.  Make una go! See! I de send una go like lambs wey dey among wolf* them.  Make una no carry money bag or food bag or sandals, and make una no greet anybody* for road.  For any place wey una enter any house, make una first talk say: ‘Make peace dey this house.’  And if person wey like peace dey there, una peace go dey with-am, but if e no dey, una peace go come back to una.  So make una stay for that house de chop and drink the things wey them give una, because them suppose pay person wey work for the work wey e do. Make una no de leave the house wey them give una go stay for another house.  Apart from that one, for any city wey una enter and them welcome una, make una chop wetin them give una.  Cure the people wey de sick for there and tell them say: ‘The Kingdom of God don come near una.’ 10  But for any city wey una enter and them no welcome una, make una go the streets wey plenty people de pass and talk say: 11  ‘Even the dust wey gum our leg from una city, we de wipe-am comot as proof against una, but make una know this one say, the Kingdom of God don near.’ 12  I de tell una say for that day, e go easy for Sod′om pass that city. 13  “You go suffer, Cho·ra′zin! You go suffer, Beth·sa′i·da! because if to say the miracles wey them do for una place, na for Tyre and Si′don them do them, them for don repent tey-tey and them for wear sackcloth and sitdown for ashes. 14  So, e go easy for Tyre and Si′don pass una for Judgment Day. 15  What of you, Ca·per′na·um, them go raise you go heaven? Na inside Grave* you go go! 16  Anybody wey de listen to una de listen to me, and anybody wey de reject una de reject me too. Apart from that one, anybody wey reject me de reject the Person wey send me.” 17  Then the 70 disciples come back, de happy and talk say: “Lord, even the demons de obey us as we use your name.” 18  As Jesus hear this one, e come tell them say: “I de see Satan wey don already fall from heaven like thunder light. 19  See! I don give una authority to match snakes and scorpions for ground. And the authority to break all the power of the enemy and nothing go fit ever wound una. 20  But, make una no de happy just because the spirits obey una. Instead, make una happy because them don write una names for heaven.” 21  For that very time, holy spirit come make Jesus happy no be small, and e talk say: “I de praise you for front of everybody, Papa, you wey be Lord of heaven and earth, because you don sofri hide this things from people wey get sense and wey know book and you don show them to small children. Na so e be Papa, because na wetin you want be that. 22  My Papa don put everything for my hand, nobody know who the Son be except the Papa and nobody know who the Papa be except the Son and anybody wey the Son want show who im Papa be.” 23  Then e turn face the disciples and tell them when them dey alone say: “The people wey their eyes de see the things wey una de see so go happy. 24  Because I de tell una say, many prophets and kings be want see the things wey una de see, but them no see them and them be want hear the things wey una de hear but them no hear them.” 25  Now, see! one man wey sabi the Law well-well stand up to test-am. E talk say: “Teacher, wetin I suppose do to fit get life wey no go end?” 26  E tell-am say: “Wetin them write for the Law? Wetin you understand from wetin you read?” 27  E come answer say: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul* and with all your power and with all your mind’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” 28  Jesus come tell-am say: “Your answer correct. Make you continue to do this one and you go get life.” 29  But because the man want show say e dey righteous,* e come ask Jesus say: “Na who really be my neighbor?” 30  Jesus come answer-am say: “One man be de travel from Jerusalem go Jer′i·cho, thief people come attack-am. Them comot im cloth and collect everything wey e get. Them beat-am sotey e almost die, and leave-am there. 31  Now e happen say one priest de pass for that road, but when e see the man, e waka pass for the other side of the road. 32  Na so too, when one Levite reach the place and see the man, e waka pass for the other side of the road. 33  But one Sa·marʹi·tan man wey de travel for the road, come reach where the man dey, as e see the man, e pity for-am. 34  So e go meet the man, pour oil and wine for the wounds and bandage them. Then e carry the man put ontop im animal and bring-am come one house wey people wey de travel de stay and take care of-am. 35  The next day, e give the person wey de take care of the house two de·nar′i·i and tell-am say: ‘Take care of-am, and any money wey you spend apart from this one, I go pay you when I come back.’ 36  Among this three people, which one you think say e show say e be neighbor to the man wey thief people attack? 37  E talk say: “Na the one wey pity-am and help-am.” Jesus come tell-am say: “Make you self go do like that.” 38  Now as them comot, e come enter one village. For here, one woman wey e name na Martha welcome-am come e house. 39  The woman still get one sister wey them de call Mary. That one sitdown near the Lord leg and continue to listen to wetin e de talk.* 40  But Martha mind no dey there because of the plenty things wey e de do. So e come meet Jesus and talk say: “Lord, e no worry you as my sister leave all the work say make only me do? Tell-am make e come help me.” 41  The Lord come answer-am say: “Martha, Martha, you too de worry and de disturb yourself about plenty things. 42  But na small things we need, or even one thing self. As for Mary, e choose the good part* and them no go collect-am from-am.”
