15  Now all the people wey de collect tax and sinners continue to gather around-am to listen to-am.  But the Pharisee people and the scribes* continue to talk small-small among theirself say: “This man de welcome sinners and de chop with them.”  Then e use one example talk to them say:  “Which man among una wey get 100 sheep, wey one of them come lost, no go leave the 99 for wilderness and go find the one wey lost until e see-am?  When e don see-am, e go carry-am put for im shoulders and e go happy no be small.  And when e reach house, e go call im friends and im neighbors together and tell them say, ‘Make una follow me happy, because I don see my sheep wey lost.’  I de tell una say na so them go still happy well-well for heaven because of one sinner wey repent, pass 99 righteous people wey no need to repent.  “Or which woman wey get ten drachma coins, and one of the drachmas come lost, wey no go light lamp, sweep im house and sofri find-am until e see-am?  And when e don see-am, e go call im friends* and neighbors together, de talk say, ‘Make una follow me happy, because I don see the drachma coin wey I lost.’ 10  I de tell una say, na so the angels of God de happy too because of one sinner wey repent.” 11  Then e talk say: “One man get two sons. 12  The second son come tell im papa say, ‘Papa, divide your property and give me my own share.’ So the papa share im property for two of them. 13  After some days, the second son come gather everything wey e get and travel go one far country. For there, e start de live useless life wey make-am waste everything. 14  When e don spend everything finish, serious hunger come dey for everywhere for that country and e no get anything. 15  E even carry imself go stay with one of the people wey come from that country, and that person send-am go im farm to take care of pigs. 16  Hunger worry-am sotey e want even chop the fruits from carob tree wey the pigs de chop, but nobody gree give-am anything. 17  “When im eye don clear, e talk say, ‘Plenty people de work for my papa and all of them de chop belleful, but hunger want kill me for here! 18  I go go meet my papa and tell-am say: “Papa, I don sin against heaven and against you. 19  I no even reach make them call me your son again. Just take me as one of the people wey de work for you.”’ 20  So e stand up go meet im papa. As e still de come from far, im papa come see-am, pity-am and run go embrace-am,* and e sofri kiss-am. 21  Then the son tell-am say, ‘Papa, I don sin against heaven and against you, I no reach make them call me your son again.’ 22  But the papa tell im slaves say, ‘Quick-quick! make una go bring one long cloth, the one wey fine pass and wear-am for im body. Make una put ring for im hand and sandals for im leg. 23  And make una still bring the fat small cow, kill-am and make we chop and celebrate, 24  because this my pikin be don die but e don come back to life, e be lost but we don see-am.’ And them start to enjoy theirself. 25  “That time, the first son be dey farm. As e de near the house when e de come back, e come de hear the sound of music and people wey de dance. 26  So e call one of the servants and ask-am wetin de happen. 27  E tell-am say, ‘Your brother don come back, and your papa kill the small fat cow, because e no sick come back.’* 28  But e vex and e no gree go inside. Then im papa come out and start to beg-am. 29  E come answer im papa say, ‘See! I don work for you for all this plenty years, and e no get anytime wey I no obey you. But you never ever give me one small goat make me and my friends enjoy together. 30  But as this your pikin wey don waste your property* with prostitutes just come back, you kill the small fat cow for-am.’ 31  Then im papa tell-am say, ‘My pikin, you don always dey with me and everything wey I get na your own. 32  But we suppose to celebrate and happy because your brother be don die but e don come back to life.
