Now see! I don ask-am questions for una front, but I no see anything wey show say this man do any of the things wey una de talk say e do. 15  Even Herod self no see anything, because e say make them bring-am back to us, and see! the man no do anything wey reach to kill-am. 16  So I go punish-am and release-am.” 17  *—— 18  But all the plenty people shout say: “Kill this man,* and release Bar·ab′bas give us!” 19  (This man be don dey prison because e make people fight against government for the city and because say e kill person.) 20  But Pilate come talk to the people again because e want release Jesus. 21  Then them start to shout, de talk say: “Go kill-am for pole! E talk say: “Na you be the Christ, no be so? Save yourself and save us too!” 40  But the other one come correct-am and tell-am say: “You no de fear God at all, now wey you don receive the same punishment with this man? 41  As for us, them suppose really punish us, because na the punishment wey we suppose receive for the things wey we do be this, but this man no do any bad thing.” 42  Then e talk say: “Jesus, remember me when you don enter your Kingdom.” 43  Jesus come tell-am say: “True-true, I de tell you today say, you go dey with me for Paradise.” 44  Well, by this time, na around the sixth hour,* but darkness cover the whole land until the ninth hour,* 45  because the sun stop to shine; then the curtain wey dey the temple* tear for middle, from top go reach down. 46  Jesus come talk with loud voice say: “Papa, I put my spirit for your hand.” After e talk this one, e come die.* 47  As the army officer see wetin happen, e start to praise God, de talk say: “True-true, this man na righteous man.” 48  And when all the plenty people wey gather for there to look wetin de happen see all this things wey happen, them come go back to their house de nack their chest. 49  And all the people wey know-am be stand for far place. The women wey follow-am come from Gal′i·lee be dey there too, and them see this things. 50  And see! e get one man wey im name na Joseph, wey be one of the people for the Council, and na good man wey de do wetin correct for God eye, 51  (This man no vote to support their plan and wetin them do.) Na Ar·i·ma·the′a e come from, wey be Ju·de′a people city, and e be de wait for the Kingdom of God. 52  This man go meet Pilate and talk say make them give-am Jesus body. 53  E bring the body down and use fine linen cloth wrap-am, and e carry-am put for grave* wey them dig inside rock, wey them never bury anybody inside before. 54  Now that day na Preparation day, and small time, the Sabbath day go start. 55  But the women wey follow-am come from Gal′i·lee, go too.
