10  From there, e comot and come the area wey the boundary them for Ju·de′a dey, for the other side of Jordan, and plenty people still gather come meet-am. Then e start to teach them again as e de always do.  And Pharisee people come meet-am with the mind to test-am, and them ask-am whether e good for man to divorce im wife.  E ask them say: “Wetin Moses command una?”  Them talk say: “Moses allow the man to write certificate wey show say e don divorce im wife and pursue-am comot.”  But Jesus tell them say: “Na because of how una stubborn reach, na im make e write this commandment for una.  But from the time wey God make things for the beginning, ‘E make them man and woman.  Because of this one, man go leave im papa and im mama,  and the two of them go be one flesh,’ so them no be two again, but one flesh.  Because of this one, the thing wey God don join together, make nobody separate-am.” 10  When them dey inside house again, the disciples come de ask-am question about this one. 11  E tell them say: “Anybody wey divorce im wife and marry another woman, don sleep with person wey no be im wife and e don do im wife bad thing. 12  And if e ever happen say woman wey don divorce im husband marry another person, e don sleep with who no be im husband.” 13  People come de bring their small-small children come meet-am so that e go touch them, but the disciples come de shout for them. 14  As Jesus see this one, e vex well-well and tell them say: “Leave the small children make them come meet me, make una no try to stop them, because the Kingdom of God na for people like this. 15  True-true, I de tell una say, anybody wey no accept the Kingdom of God like small pikin no go ever enter inside.” 16  And e carry the children for im hand and start to bless them, de put im hand ontop them. 17  As e de go for road, one man run come meet-am and kneel down for im front and ask-am say: “Good Teacher, wetin I suppose do to fit get life wey no go end?” 18  Jesus tell-am say: “Why you de call me good? Nobody good except one person, God. 19  You know wetin dey the commandments: ‘Make you no kill person, make you no sleep with person wey no be your husband or wife, make you no thief, make you no talk say person do wetin e no do, make you no use wayo collect other people things, honor your papa and your mama.’” 20  The man tell-am say: “Teacher, I don de do all this things from when I small.” 21  Jesus look-am and e come get love for-am and talk say, “One thing dey wey de miss for your life: Go sell the things wey you get and give the money to poor people, and you go get better thing for heaven; and then come de follow me.” 22  But e no happy at all for wetin Jesus tell-am, e pain-am and e waka comot, because e get plenty property. 23  After Jesus don look round, e tell im disciples say: “E go really hard for people wey get money to enter the Kingdom of God!” 24  But the disciples surprise because of wetin Jesus talk. Jesus come tell them again say: “My children, e really hard to enter the Kingdom of God! 25  E easy pass for camel to enter the hole wey dey needle, than for rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.” 26  Them come surprise more-more, and ask-am say:* “Who them fit really save?” 27  Jesus look them direct and talk say: “For people eye, e no dey possible, but no be so e be with God, because everything dey possible for God.” 28  Peter come de tell-am say: “See! We don leave everything and follow you.” 29  Jesus talk say: “True-true, I de tell una say, nobody wey don leave house or brothers or sisters or mama or papa or children or lands because of me and because of the good news 30  wey no go get 100 times more now for this time—house them, brothers, sisters, mama them, children, and lands, with suffer from people—and for the new world wey de come,* e go get life wey no go end. 31  But many people wey be first go be last and the last go be first.” 32  Now as them be de waka for the road wey de go up to Jerusalem, Jesus be de waka for their front, and them surprise no be small, but the people wey de follow them start to fear. So e come carry the 12 apostles again go corner,* and start to tell them this things wey go soon happen to-am, say: 33  “See! Na Jerusalem we de go so, and them go put the Son of man for the hand of the chief priests and the scribes.* Them go judge-am and talk say them must kill-am. And them go carry-am give people wey no de serve God, 34  and this people go use-am do yeye, spit ontop-am, flog-am and kill-am, but for the third day,* e go come back to life.” 35  James and John wey be the sons of Zeb′e·dee come meet-am and tell-am say: “Teacher, we want make you do anything wey we beg you say make you do for us.” 36  E ask them say: “Wetin una want make I do for una?” 37  Them tell-am say: “When you don dey your wonderful position, allow us to sitdown with you, one of us for your right hand side, and the other one for your left hand side.” 38  But Jesus tell them say: “Una no know wetin una de ask for so. Una fit drink the cup wey I de drink or baptize with the kind baptism wey them de use baptize me so?” 39  Them come tell-am say: “We fit.” So Jesus come tell them say: “The cup wey I de drink, una go drink-am, and na the kind baptism wey them de baptize me now so, them go use baptize una. 40  But no be me go talk who go sitdown for my right hand side or my left hand side, but na people wey them don arrange-am for go sitdown for there.” 41  When the other ten hear about-am, them vex for James and John no be small. 42  But Jesus call them near body and tell them say: “Una know say the people wey be like say na them de rule for the world de do oga for the people wey them de rule and their big men de use power de control them. 43  No be like that e suppose be among una, but anybody wey want be big man among una, must be una servant, 44  and anybody wey want be first among una must be slave for all of una. 45  Because even the Son of man no come make people serve-am, but e come to serve people and to give im life* as price to free many people.” 46  Them come enter Jer′i·cho. But as e and im disciples and plenty people de come out from Jer′i·cho, Bar·ti·mae′us (the son of Ti·mae′us), wey be blind beggar, sitdown near the road. 47  When e hear say na Jesus wey come from Naz·a·reth de pass, e start to shout and talk say: “Jesus, Son of David, pity me!” 48  So plenty people come de shout for-am, de tell-am say make e quiet. But e come de shout more-more say: “Son of David, pity me!” 49  So Jesus stop and talk say: “Call-am come.” So them call the blind man, and tell-am say: “No fear! Stand up, e de call you.” 50  Na so e troway the cloth wey e wear ontop, jump up, and go meet Jesus. 51  Then Jesus ask-am say: “Wetin you want make I do for you?” The blind man tell-am say: “Rab·bo′ni,* help me make I fit see again.” 52  And Jesus tell-am say: “Go. Your faith don make you well.” At once, e come de see, and e start to follow-am as them dey the road.
