Mark 12:1-44
12 Then e start to use examples talk to them, say: “One man plant vine farm and fence-am round, dig place wey them de make wine inside-am and e build one tall house for there, e come give-am to people make them take care of-am, and e travel go another country.
2 When the season reach, e send one slave go meet the people wey de take care of the farm to collect some of the fruits for the vine farm from them.
3 But them hold-am, beat-am, pursue-am comot with empty hand.
4 E come still send another slave go meet them, them come wound that one for head and disgrace-am.
5 E send another one, and them kill that one, and e still send many other ones, but them beat some of them and kill some of them.
6 E come send the last person wey remain, wey be im son wey e love, and tell imself say: ‘Them go respect my son.’
7 But those people wey de take care of the farm come tell theirself say, ‘Na this one go inherit the property, make una come make we kill-am, and wetin e suppose get go be our own.’
8 Them come hold-am, kill-am and throw-am outside the vine farm.
9 So wetin the owner of the vine farm go do? E go come kill the people wey de take care of the farm and give the vine farm to other people.
10 Una never read this place before for the word of God, say: ‘The stone wey the people wey de build house reject don be the main foundation stone.*
11 Na from Jehovah this one come and na wonderful thing for our eyes’?”
12 As e talk this thing, them be want catch-am,* but them de fear the plenty people because them know say na because of them e talk this example, so them leave-am comot.
13 The next thing wey them do na to send some Pharisee people and some people from the group wey de support Herod go meet-am, so that them fit use wetin e de talk catch-am.
14 As them come, them tell-am say: “Teacher, we know say you de always talk true, and you no de do things to make people like you, because no be the way person be for outside you de look but you de teach the truth about the way of God. E good* to pay tax* to Caesar abi e no good?
15 Make we pay or make we no pay?” Jesus just know say na pretend them de pretend, so e ask them say: “Why una de test me? Make una bring one de·nar′i·us make I see.”
16 Them come bring one for-am and e ask them say: “Which person picture and name be this?” Them come tell-am say: “Na Caesar own.”
17 Then Jesus tell them say: “Make una pay back Caesar things to Caesar, but God things to God.” And wetin e talk surprise them.

23 For the resurrection, which person wife this woman go be? Since the seven of them be marry-am as their wife.”
24 Jesus tell them say: “No be this one don make una miss road, because una no know the word of God or the power of God?
25 Because when people wey don die go come back to life, men no go marry and them no go give women out for marriage, but them go be like angels for heaven.
26 But for the matter say them de resurrect people wey don die, una never read for the book of Moses, for the story about the chuku-chuku tree, say God tell-am say: ‘I be the God of Abraham, and God of Isaac and God of Jacob’?

28 One of the scribes* wey come and hear as them de argue and wey know say Jesus don answer them well come ask-am say: “Which commandment be number one* of all the commandments?”
29 Jesus answer-am say: “The first one na, ‘Make una hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God na one Jehovah,
30 and you must love Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul* and with all your mind and with all your power.’
31 The second one na, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ E no get any commandment wey big pass this ones.”
32 The scribe tell-am say: “Teacher, you talk-am well and na the truth, ‘Na One God dey, and no other God dey apart from-am’;
33 and for person to love-am with all im heart, with all im mind* and with all im power and for person to love im neighbor as e love imself, get value well-well pass all the full animal sacrifice and other sacrifice them.”
34 As Jesus see say the man answer well, e come tell-am say: “You no far from the Kingdom of God.” But nobody get the mind to ask-am question again.
35 But as Jesus continue de teach for the temple, e come ask say: “Why the scribes talk say Christ na David son?
36 Holy spirit move David imself to talk say, ‘Jehovah tell my Lord say: “Sitdown for my right hand side until I put your enemies under your feet.”’
37 David imself call-am Lord, so how e take be im pikin?”
And the plenty-plenty people de listen to-am and wetin e de talk de sweet them.
38 And as e de teach, e come talk say: “Make una dey careful about the scribes, them de like to wear long cloth waka about and want make people de greet them for market area them,
39 and them de like to sitdown for front* seats for synagogues and place them wey better pass, when them go evening party.
40 Them de collect everything* wey widows get, and de pray long prayers to show theirself.* Their judgment go strong* pass other people their own.”
41 E come sitdown for where e de see the containers wey them de put money, e start de watch as plenty people de put money inside the containers and many rich people de put plenty coins.
42 Now one poor widow come, and e put two small coins wey the value no reach anything.*
43 So e call im disciples near body and tell them say: “True-true, I de tell una say the money wey this poor widow put plenty pass the money wey all the other people put inside the container.
44 Because all of them put from the plenty wey them get, but as this woman poor reach, e put everything wey e get, everything wey e for use care for imself.”
