9  So e enter the boat, cross go the other side of the sea, and enter im own city.  And see! some people come carry one man wey no fit move im body because of sickness come meet-am, the man lie down for bed.* When Jesus see the kind faith wey them get, e come tell the man wey de sick say: “No fear, my pikin! I don forgive your sins.”  Some of the scribes* come de think for their mind say: “This man de talk against God.”  As e be say Jesus know wetin them de think, e come talk say: “Why una de think wicked things for una heart?  For example, which one easy pass, to talk say, ‘I don forgive your sins,’ or to talk say, ‘Stand up make you waka’?  But so that una go know say the Son of man get authority for this earth to forgive sins—” then e tell the man wey no fit move im body say: “Stand up, carry your bed and go your house.”  Then e stand up and go im house.  When the people see wetin happen, fear catch them and them praise God wey give that kind power to people.  Then, as Jesus comot from there, e see one man wey im name na Matthew, wey sitdown for office where them de pay tax. E come tell-am say: “Come de follow me.” Na so e just stand up and follow-am. 10  After, as e de chop* for the house, see! plenty people wey de collect tax and sinners come, and start to chop* with Jesus and im disciples. 11  But when the Pharisee people see this one, them come ask im disciples say: “Why una teacher de chop with people wey de collect tax and sinners?” 12  When Jesus hear wetin them talk, e talk say: “People wey their body strong no need doctor, but people wey de sick need-am. 13  So, make una go learn wetin this one mean, say: ‘I want make una de show mercy, no be to de do sacrifice.’ Because no be righteous people* I come call, but na sinners.” 14  Then the disciples of John come meet-am and ask-am say: “Why we and the Pharisee people de fast, but your disciples no de fast?” 15  Jesus come tell them say: “The friends of the man wey de marry no get any reason to feel sad as the man still dey with them, or them get? But time de come wey them go carry the man wey de marry comot leave them, na that time them go fast. 16  Nobody de take pieces of new cloth patch old cloth,* because the new cloth go pull comot from the old one, the hole wey dey there go come big pass as e dey before. 17  And people no de pour new wine inside old wine bags wey them use animal skin make. If them do like that, the bags go burst, the wine go pour troway and the bags go spoil. But na inside new wine bags, na im people de pour new wine, and na that one go make the two things no spoil.” 18  As e de tell them this things, see! one ruler come meet-am and bow down for-am and talk say: “By now, my daughter go don die, but come put your hand ontop-am and e go come back to life.” 19  So Jesus come get up follow the man, and im disciples follow-am too. 20  And one woman wey get one sickness wey de make blood comot from im body for 12 years, come from back and touch the down part of the cloth wey Jesus wear ontop, 21  because e be de tell imself say: “If I fit just touch the cloth wey e wear ontop, I go well.” 22  Jesus come turn and when e see the woman, e talk say: “No fear my pikin! Your faith don make you well.” And from that time, the woman well. 23  Then when Jesus reach the house of the ruler and see the people wey de play flute and the plenty people wey de cry and de shout, 24  Jesus come talk say: “Make una comot from this place, because the small girl no die, na sleep e de sleep.” When them hear this one, them come start to laugh, de use-am do yeye. 25  As the people just go outside finish, e enter the house, and hold the girl hand, the small girl come stand up. 26  The news of this thing wey Jesus do come spread full the whole of that area. 27  As Jesus de comot from there, two blind men come de follow-am and de shout say: “Son of David, pity us.” 28  After e don enter inside house, the blind men come meet-am. Jesus come ask them say: “Una get faith say I fit do this thing?” Them come answer-am say: “Yes, Lord.” 29  Then e touch their eyes, and talk say: “Because una get faith, make wetin una want happen to una.” 30  Their eye come open. Then Jesus come give them strong warning say: “Make una make sure say una no tell anybody about this thing.” 31  But when them go outside, them start to talk about-am for the whole of that area. 32  As them de comot, see! people come bring one man wey no de fit talk, and demon dey im body. 33  But after e don pursue the demon comot from im body, the man wey no fit talk start to talk. The thing really surprise the plenty people wey dey there, and them talk say: “We never see anything like this for Israel before.” 34  But the Pharisee people come de talk say: “Na the power of the ruler of the demons e de use pursue demons comot.” 35  Then Jesus start to waka round all the city and village, de teach for their synagogues and de preach the good news of the Kingdom and e de cure all kind of disease and all kind of sickness. 36  When e see the plenty people, e pity them, because them be like sheep wey them don peel their skin, and them de waka about because them no get shepherd. 37  Then e tell im disciples say: “True-true, things to harvest plenty, but workers no plenty. 38  So, make una beg the Master of the harvest make e send workers go harvest im things.”
