Philippians 2:1-30
2 Make una do una best to encourage other people because of Christ, to use love comfort other people, to join together do things as brothers and sisters,* to show deep love and get strong feeling to help each other.
2 Una go make my joy complete if una get one mind and one love, una dey as one for everything,* de think together with one mind.
3 For everything wey una de do, make e no be because una get quarrel for mind or because una de feel say una dey too important, but make una de carry body down* and de see other people as people wey better pass una.
4 And make una no de look for wetin go benefit only unaself, but wetin go still benefit other people.
5 Make una de think for this same way just like Christ Jesus.
6 Even as e be like God, e no even think-am say e want try to dey equal to God.
7 No, but e leave everything* and e agree to be slave and become human.*
8 Ontop that one, when e come as man,* e carry body down and e obey till e die. True-true, e die ontop torture pole.*
9 Because of this one, God raise-am go position wey high pass the one wey e get before and e use all im heart give-am the name wey high pass every other name,
10 so that because of the name of Jesus every knee go bend—the ones wey dey heaven, and the ones wey dey earth, and the ones wey dey under the ground—
11 and make every tongue talk for public say Jesus Christ na Lord, to the praise of God our Papa.
12 So, my dear brothers and sisters, just as una de always obey, no be only when I dey with una, but una even dey ready to do more now wey I no dey with una. Make una continue to try una best to show fear and deep respect so that una go fit get life.
13 Na God de make una strong, so that una go fit do wetin e like, and e de move una to want do-am and de give una power to do-am.
14 Make una no de complain or argue for anything wey una de do,
15 so that una go fit be people wey them no de talk bad about and wey their hand clean, children of God wey no get stain among the bad and wicked people of this time, and una de shine as light among them for the world.
16 Make una continue to hold the word of life tight. Then, I go fit get reason to de happy for the day of Christ as I know say I no run for nothing or work hard for nothing.
17 But even if them de pour me like wine wey them de use for offering for the sacrifice and the holy work* wey una faith don move una to do, I de glad and I really de happy with all of una.
18 For the same way, make una still de glad and really de happy with me.
19 I get hope for the Lord Jesus say, small time, I go send Timothy come meet una so that when I hear about una, this one fit encourage me.
20 I no get any other person wey be like Timothy wey go really care for una.
21 All the other people de think about only wetin them go gain,* them no de think about Jesus Christ.
22 But una know say e don show the kind person wey e be, because like pikin with im papa, e don really work hard* with me to spread the good news.
23 So na the person wey I de hope to send once I see how things be for me.
24 True-true, I dey sure say if na wetin the Lord want, small time, me too go come.
25 But for now, I de feel say e dey good to send E·paph·ro·di′tus to una. Na my brother, we de work together, and na soldier like me. Na messenger wey una send to me and wey una give as servant to help me.
26 I de send-am because e really want see all of una, and e dey sad because una hear say e sick before.
27 True-true, e sick sotey e almost die, but God show-am mercy and e still show me too, so that more problem no go join the one wey I don get.
28 So I de send-am to una quick-quick so that when una see-am, una go de happy again and me too no go worry too much.
29 So make una use all una heart welcome-am as una de always welcome people wey de follow the Lord, and make una continue to show say una value this kind people.
30 E almost die because of the work wey e de do for Christ.* E put im life* for danger so that e go fit do the work wey una for help me do if to say una dey here.
