Revelation 16:1-21

  • Seven bowls wey the vex of God dey inside (1-21)

    • Them pour-am ontop the earth (2), the sea (3), the rivers and place them wey water de come from (4-7), the sun (8, 9), the throne of the big wicked animal (10, 11), the Euphrates (12-16), and the air (17-21)

    • God war for Armageddon (14, 16)

16  And I hear one loud voice wey talk from the holy place and e tell the seven angels say: “Make una go pour the seven bowls wey the vex of God dey inside, for the earth.”  The first one comot and pour wetin dey inside im bowl for the earth. And the people wey get the mark of the big wicked animal and wey de worship im image come de get one bad wound wey de quick spread.  The second one pour wetin dey im bowl inside the sea, the sea come turn to blood and e be like the blood of person wey don die and everything* wey dey alive for inside the sea die.  The third one pour wetin dey inside im bowl for the river them and the place them* wey water de come from, and them turn to blood.  Then I hear as the angel wey de control the water them de talk say: “You, the Person wey dey and wey be dey, you wey be God wey no de leave im people, you de always do wetin correct, because na you don decide say make this things happen,  and that na because them troway the blood of holy ones and prophets and you don give them blood make them drink; na wetin good for them be that.”  And I hear as the altar de talk say: “Yes, Jehovah God, you wey be the Almighty, all your judgment dey correct and we fit trust them.”  The fourth one pour wetin dey inside im bowl ontop the sun, and them give the sun power to burn the people like fire.  The strong heat come burn the people, but them talk bad about the name of God wey get the power to control this punishment, and them no repent make them honor-am. 10  The fifth one pour wetin dey inside im bowl ontop the throne of the big wicked animal. Darkness come cover im kingdom, them come de bite their tongue because of their pain, 11  but them talk bad against the God wey dey heaven because of their pain and their wounds, and them no gree comot hand from the things wey them de do. 12  The sixth angel pour wetin dey inside im bowl ontop the big Eu·phraʹtes river, the water wey dey inside come dry reach ground, so that e go ready the road for the kings wey de come from the East.* 13  And I see three dirty message* wey resemble frog wey come out from the mouth of the dragon, and the mouth of the big wicked animal, and the mouth of the lie-lie prophet. 14  The truth be say them be message wey come from demons, and them de do miracles,* and them comot go meet the kings for the whole earth to gather them together for the war of the great day of God the Almighty. 15  “See! I de come like thief. The person wey continue to dey awake and wey keep im cloth wey e de wear ontop, go happy, because e no go waka naked make people see-am and shame go come de catch-am.” 16  And them gather them together go the place wey them de call Armageddon,* for Hebrew language. 17  The seventh one pour wetin dey inside im bowl for air. When e do this one, one loud voice come out of the holy place, from the throne wey talk say: “E don finish!” 18  Thunder light come de appear, and I hear different-different voice, and thunder de strike, and ground shake open well-well, the kind one wey never happen since when them make people for the earth. E really shake open well-well. 19  The great city divide into three parts, the cities of the nations come fall, God come remember Babylon the Great so that e go give-am the cup of wine wey the serious vex of God full inside. 20  Apart from that one, all the island run comot and them no see any mountain. 21  Then big-big ice block come de fall like rain from heaven ontop the people. Each of them heavy reach about one talent,* the people come de talk bad against God, because of the big-big ice block wey God use punish them, and that na because the ice blocks spoil things well-well.
