Revelation 21:1-27
21 And I see new heaven and new earth, because the heaven wey dey before and the earth wey dey before don go, and the sea no dey again.
2 I still see the holy city wey be New Jerusalem, as e de come down from heaven from God, and e be like bride wey them don dress well, wey don ready to meet im husband.
3 And I hear one loud voice from the throne wey talk say: “See! The tent of God dey with people, and e go stay with them, and them go be im people. And God imself go dey with them.
4 And e go clean all the tears comot from their eyes, and death no go dey again, sorrow, cry-cry, and pain no go dey again. The things wey de happen before don go.”
5 And the Person wey sitdown for the throne talk say: “See! I de make everything new.” E still talk say: “Write-am, because this words na wetin people fit trust and na true.”
6 And e tell me say: “Them don already happen! Na me be the Alʹpha and the O·meʹga,* the beginning and the end. Anybody wey im throat dry, I go give-am water for free, from the place* wey the water wey de give life de come from.
7 Anybody wey win go get this things, and I go be im God and e go be my pikin.
8 But as for the fear-fear people, and people wey no get faith, and people wey de live rotten yama-yama* life, and people wey de kill and de put hand for sex wey no clean,* and people wey de do things with demons and people wey de worship idols, and all the lie-lie people, na inside the lake wey de burn with fire and sulfur them go go. This one mean the second death.”
9 One of the seven angels wey hold the seven bowls wey the seven punishment full inside come, and e tell me say: “Come, and I go show you the bride wey be the Lamb wife.”
10 So e use the power of the spirit carry me go one big and high mountain, and e show me the holy city wey be Jerusalem as e de come down from heaven from God,
11 and the glory of God de make-am shine, and the way e de shine just be like stone wey fine well-well, like jasper stone wey de shine and clear like crystal.
12 E get one big and high wall, and 12 gates with 12 angels wey dey the gates, and them write the names of the 12 tribes of the sons of Israel for the gates.
13 For the east side, three gates dey there, and for the north side, three gates, and for the south side, three gates, and the west side, three gates.
14 The wall for the city still get 12 foundation stones, and the 12 names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb dey ontop the stones.
15 Now the person wey de talk with me be hold gold stick wey e want use measure, so that e go use-am measure the city, the gates and the wall of the city.
16 And the way them build the city, the four sides dey equal. The way e long reach na the same with the way e wide reach, and e measure the city with the stick, and na about 2,220 kilometer* e be. The way e long reach, wide reach and high reach na the same.
17 E measure the wall too, and na 144 cubits* e be, the way people take de measure things, na so the angel measure-am.
18 Na jasper stone them take make the wall, and the city na pure gold wey clear like glass.
19 Na all kind of fine-fine stone them use design the foundations of the city wall: the first foundation na jasper stone, the second one na sapphire, the third one na chal·ceʹdo·ny, the fourth one na emerald,
20 the fifth one na sar·donʹyx, the sixth one, sardius, the seventh one na chrysʹo·lite, the eighth one na beryl, the ninth one na topaz, the tenth one na chrysʹo·prase, the eleventh one na hyacinth, and the twelfth one na amethyst.
21 And the 12 gates na 12 pearls,* them make each of the gates with one pearl. And na pure gold wey clear like glass them take make the main street for the city.
22 I no see any temple inside-am, because Jehovah God the Almighty na im temple, and the Lamb too.
23 And the city no need sun or moon to shine ontop-am, because the glory of God de make-am shine and im lamp na the Lamb.
24 And na im light the nations go use waka and the kings of the earth go bring their glory come inside-am.
25 Them no go ever close im gates for daytime because night no go dey for there.
26 And them go bring the glory and the honor of the nations come inside-am.
27 But anything wey no clean and anybody wey de put hand for any yama-yama thing and de lie no go ever enter inside there, but na only people wey them write their name for the scroll of life wey the Lamb get go enter.
