8 So, God no go condemn people wey be one with Christ Jesus.
2 Now the law of the spirit wey de give life don make you wey de follow Christ Jesus to dey free from the law of sin and the law of death.
3 The thing wey the Law no get power to do as e dey weak because of the body, God don do this thing as e send im own Son to come with body wey be like the one wey get sin and e come because of sin, so God condemn sin wey dey the body.
4 This one happen so that we go fit do the righteous things wey the Law want, we wey no de do wetin the body want, but wey de do wetin the spirit want.
5 People wey de live the way the body want, de put their mind for the things wey concern the body. But people wey de live the way the spirit want, de put their mind for the things wey concern the spirit.
6 To put mind for the body mean death, but to put mind for the spirit mean life and peace.
7 Because to put mind for the body mean say person de make imself enemy of God, since the body no dey under the law of God, and true-true, e no go fit be.
8 So people wey de obey their body no go fit make God happy.
9 But, una no de obey una body, instead, una de obey the spirit if true-true, the spirit of God dey inside una. But if anybody no get the spirit of Christ, this person no be Im own.
10 But if Christ dey as one with una, the body don die because of sin, but the spirit na life because of righteous things.
11 Now, if the spirit of God wey bring Jesus back to life dey inside una, then the person wey bring Christ Jesus back to life go still use im spirit wey dey inside una to make una body wey de die to dey alive.
12 So, my brothers, na true say we must obey something but no be the body, to live as the body want.
13 If una live as the body want, una go surely die, but if una use the spirit kill the things wey the body want make una do, una go live.
14 Because all the people wey the spirit of God de direct na really sons of God.
15 Una no receive spirit wey make una slave and make una de fear again. Instead, una receive spirit wey make una be sons, and na this spirit de make us talk loud say, “Abba,* Papa!”
16 The spirit de make-am clear to us* say we be children of God.
17 So if we be children, we still be people wey go inherit the blessing. True-true, we go inherit the blessing from God, and we go join inherit the blessing with Christ. But we must first suffer together so that we go fit still get honor together.
18 I believe say the things wey we de suffer now no be anything if person compare-am with the glory wey go show clear through us.
19 The things wey God make de really wait with all their heart for the sons of God to show clear.
20 Them put the things wey God make for condition wey no get hope, but no be because the things want-am like that, instead na through the person wey put them for that condition because of hope.
21 God know say the things wey e make go still dey free and them no go be slave again to wetin de rotten and them go get the wonderful freedom of the children of God.
22 Because we know say all the things wey God make continue to cry inside their heart together and de feel pain together until now.
23 No be only that one, but we still get the proof of wetin de come,* wey be the spirit, yes, we wey de cry for inside our heart as we de try our best to wait for God to make us im sons, to free us from our body with the price wey e pay.
24 God don save us with this hope; but hope wey person don see, no be hope. When person see something, e go still de hope for the thing?
25 But if we de hope for wetin we no de see, we de continue to use all our heart wait for the thing and de endure as we de do this one.
26 For the same way, the spirit still de join help us for where we dey weak, because the problem na say we no know wetin we go pray for as we suppose to, but na the spirit de beg for us when we no know wetin to talk and cry full inside our heart.
27 But the person wey de check inside the heart know the meaning of wetin the spirit de talk, because e de beg for the holy ones according to wetin God want.
28 We know say God de make all im handwork make them work together as one to benefit people wey love God, people wey God don call because of wetin God get for mind.
29 Because God don still decide-am already to make the people wey e don first know for special way to be like* im Son, so that im Son go fit be firstborn among many brothers.
30 Ontop that one, the people wey e don already choose, na the people wey e still don call; and the people wey e don call, na the ones wey e still don talk say them dey righteous. And last-last, the people wey e don talk say them dey righteous na the people wey e still don honor.
31 So, wetin we go talk about this things? If God dey for us, who go dey against us?
32 Since e no even allow anything to stop-am make e no give us im own Son, but e give-am as sacrifice for all of us, una no think say as e give im Son, e go still use all im heart give us every other thing?
33 Who go fit bring case against the people wey God don choose? Na God be the Person wey de talk say them dey righteous.
34 Who go condemn them? Na Christ Jesus be the person wey die, yes, apart from that one, God bring-am back to life, the person wey dey the right hand side of God and wey still de beg for us.
35 Who go separate us from the love wey Christ get for us? Na problem, or hard time, or suffer from people, or hunger, or when we dey naked, or danger, or na sword?
36 Just as them don write-am say: “Because of you we de face death the whole day, them don see us as sheep wey them want kill.”
37 But even with all this things, we de come out as people wey don win finish, because of the person wey don love us.
38 Because I dey sure say death, or life, or angels, or governments, or things wey dey here now, or things wey de come, or powers,
39 or things wey dey high, or things wey dey deep, or any other thing wey God make, no go fit separate us from the love wey God get for us through Christ Jesus our Lord.
