First Corinthians 6:1-20
6 If any of una get quarrel with another brother, wetin go make una take the matter go court go meet people wey no de do the correct thing for God eye, instead of to go meet the holy ones?
2 Or una no know say the holy ones go judge the world? And if una go judge the world, una no qualify to judge small-small matter?
3 Una no know say we go judge angels? Then why we no go fit judge matter for this life?
4 So if una get matter for this life to settle, na people wey congregation de see as people wey no qualify una go choose as judge?
5 I de talk to make una shame. No man among una get sense wey fit judge matter wey one brother get with another brother?
6 Instead, brother de carry another brother go court, and na even people wey no believe the good news them de go meet!
7 The truth be say una don already fail as una de get court case with each other. Why una no just allow make them do una bad? Why una no just allow make them cheat una?
8 Instead, una de do bad and de cheat, and na even una brothers una de do this one to!
9 Or una no know say people wey no de do the correct thing for God eye no go enter* the Kingdom of God? Make nobody deceive una. People wey de put hand for sex wey no clean,* people wey de worship idol, people wey don marry wey de sleep with another person, men wey de agree make other men sleep with them, men wey de sleep with other men,*
10 people wey de thief, people wey get long throat, drunkards, people wey de curse-curse,* and people wey de collect people things by force, no go enter the Kingdom of God.
11 And na so some of una be before. But God don wash una clean, e don make una dey holy, e don talk say una be people wey de do the correct thing for im eye for the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.
12 I get right to do everything, but no be everything get gain. I get right to do everything, but I no go allow anything control me.*
13 Food na for belle, and belle na for food, but God go make the two of them to be nothing. The body no be for sex wey no clean,* but na for the Lord, and the Lord na for the body.
14 But God bring the Lord back to life and e go still bring us back to life with im power.
15 Una no know say una body dey part of the body of Christ? So make I take parts of the body of Christ comot and join them to prostitute? E no go work!
16 Una no know say anybody wey join imself to prostitute na one body with-am? Because God talk say, “the two of them go be one flesh.”
17 But anybody wey join imself to the Lord na one with-am for spirit.
18 Run from sex wey no clean!* Every other sin wey person de do na outside im body, but anybody wey de put hand for sex wey no clean de sin against im own body.
19 Una no know say una body na the temple of the holy spirit wey dey inside una, wey una get from God? Another thing na say, no be una get unaself,
20 because God buy una with price. Make una do everything wey una fit do to use una body honor God.
