First Thessalonians 4:1-18
4 So my brothers, we don tell una wetin to do about how una suppose live una life to make God happy, and true-true, una de do-am. Now, we de use the name of the Lord Jesus to tell una and beg una say make una continue to do-am more-more.
2 Una know the things wey we tell una to do* with the authority from the Lord Jesus.
3 The thing wey God want na say, make una dey holy and no put hand for sex wey no clean.*
4 Make each person know how to control im own body for way wey dey holy and wey get honor.
5 Make una no be like people wey no know God, wey get long throat and no de fit control their feeling for sex.
6 Make nobody cross boundary for the way e de behave and cheat im brother for this matter, because Jehovah go punish people for all this things, just as we tell una before and still give una strong warning about-am.
7 God don call us make we dey holy, no be to live dirty life.
8 So the person wey de reject this thing no de reject any human, but na God wey de give una im holy spirit e de reject.
9 But we no need to write to una to tell una say make una de love each other like people for the same family, because God de teach una to love each other.
10 The truth na say, una don already de do like that to all the brothers for everywhere for Mac·e·do′ni·a. But brothers, we de encourage una to continue to do-am more-more.
11 Make una de try una best to live quiet life, to mind una own business and to work with una hand, just as we don tell una make una de do,
12 so that people for outside go see say una de behave well and una no need anything.
13 Apart from that one, my brothers, we no want make una no know about people wey don die,* so that una no go de feel sad like the other people wey no get hope.
14 If we get faith say Jesus die and come back to life again, na so too God go bring back people wey die* as one with Jesus to be with-am.
15 From the thing wey Jehovah talk, we de tell una say, we wey dey alive for the time wey the Lord go dey around no go first go before people wey don already die.*
16 Because the Lord go come down from heaven and e go give command with the voice of chief angel and with God trumpet, and people wey don die wey be one with Christ go first get up.
17 After, we wey dey alive, go just enter the cloud to dey with them and to meet the Lord for air; and na so we go always dey with the Lord.
18 So make una continue to use this words de comfort one another.
