First Timothy 4:1-16
4 But the word from God* talk-am clear say for future,* some people go comot from the faith, them go de listen to lie-lie message wey be like wetin come from God* and teachings from demons.
2 E go happen to them because of the lie-lie from men wey de pretend, wey their conscience don die like dry mark for skin wey hot iron burn.
3 Them go de talk say to marry na bad thing and de command people make them no chop some food. But God make this food them so that people wey get faith and wey really know the truth go chop them and de talk thank you.
4 Everything wey God make dey fine, and we no suppose reject anything if we don take-am and talk thank you,
5 because the word of God and the prayer wey them pray ontop, don make-am dey holy.
6 When you de give the brothers this advice, you go be better servant of Christ Jesus, person wey don feed imself well with the message of the faith and of the fine teaching wey e don follow well.
7 But reject stories wey no show respect for God and wey be lie, like the ones wey old women de talk. Instead, make your target be to train yourself to serve God well.
8 To train body* de bring small gain, but to serve God well de bring gain for everything, because this one de help person to get the blessings wey God don promise for this life now, and for the life wey de come.
9 That one na true talk, and na wetin person fit accept with all im heart.
10 Na this one make us de work hard and de try our best because we don put our hope for the God wey dey alive, wey be Savior of all kind of people, especially people wey dey faithful.
11 Continue to give them all this command and de teach this things.
12 Make you no allow anybody treat you like say you be nothing because you dey young. Instead, make you be better example for people wey de serve God well for the way you de talk, the way you de behave, the way you de show love, for your faith, and for the way you de live clean life.*
13 Until I come, make you continue to put all your heart for the way you de read for public, the way you de encourage people,* and the way you de teach.
14 Make you no play with the gift wey them give you,* the time wey them talk things about you wey go happen* and group of elders put their hand ontop you.
15 Make you think deep about this things, soak yourself inside them so that everybody go see-am clear say you de grow.
16 Continue to check yourself and the way you de teach. No tire to do this things because as you de do them, you go save yourself and people wey listen to you.
