    • We no de use the word of God de do business (17)

2  I don decide say I no go make una sad when I come visit una again.  Because if I make una sad, who go dey there to make me happy if no be people wey I make sad?  I write wetin I write because when I come, I no want dey sad because of people wey I suppose de happy for, because I really dey sure say wetin de give me joy de give all of una the same joy.  Na with plenty suffer and pain for heart I write letter to una even with plenty tears, no be to make una sad, but na to make una know how the love wey I get for una deep reach.  Now if anybody don make una sad, no be me e make sad, but na all of una e make sad for some way—I no want too dey harsh for wetin I de talk.  This correction wey plenty people give dey enough for that kind man.  Instead, make una forgive with all una heart and comfort-am so that e no go oversad till e tire.  So I de advice una say make una make the person see say una love-am.  Na this one still be the reason why I write to una: to see whether una go show say una de obey for everything. 10  If una forgive anybody for anything, I don forgive the person too. The truth be say, anything wey I don forgive (if at all I don forgive anything) na because of una for front of Christ, 11  so that Satan no go catch* us, because we know the different-different style* wey e de use. 12  Now when I reach Tro′as to preach the good news about Christ and door open for me to do the work of the Lord, 13  I no get peace of mind* because I no see Titus my brother. So I tell them bye-bye and comot go Mac·e·do′ni·a. 14  But we de thank God, e de always lead us to march as people wey don win together with Christ, and e de use us spread* the fine smell of things wey we know about God for everywhere! 15  For God, we be fine smell as we de preach about Christ among people wey God go save and among people wey God go destroy. 16  For the last group, this smell de smell like death and e de bring death; but for the first group, this smell de smell like life and e de bring life. And who really qualify for this things? 17  Na we, because we no de use the word of God de do business* as many people de do, but we de talk with complete good mind as people wey God send, for front of God and together with Christ.
