  • The work to help people make peace with God (11-21)

    • The new person (17)

    • Special messengers for Christ (20)

5  We know say if them destroy our house* for this earth* wey be this tent, we go get house from God, house wey them no make with hand, wey de last forever for heaven.  True-true, for inside this house, we de cry for inside our heart. We really want wear the one wey be our own* from heaven,*  so that when we don wear-am, we no go dey naked.  The truth na say, we wey dey for inside this tent de cry for inside our heart, we de overworry, because we no want remove this one, but we want wear the other one, so that life go fit swallow wetin fit die.  Now the person wey prepare us for this thing na God, wey give us the spirit as proof of wetin de come.*  So we de always get full trust and we know say as we get our house inside this body, we no dey with the Lord,  because na faith de guide our life,* no be wetin eye de see.  But we get full trust and go like to dey far from this body and to live with the Lord.  So whether we de live with-am or we no dey with-am, our target na to do wetin go make-am happy with us. 10  All of us must appear* for front of the judgment seat of Christ, so that each person fit get payment for the things wey e don do when e dey for this body, whether na good or bad.* 11  So since we know the fear of the Lord, we de make people change their mind, but God know us well. But, I hope say una conscience still know us well. 12  We no de talk about ourself to una again, but we de give una something to make una boast about us, so that una go fit answer people wey de boast about things wey them get wey eye fit see, but no be about wetin dey inside the heart. 13  If our head no correct, na for God; if our head correct, na for una. 14  The love wey Christ get de move us, because this one na wetin we don understand, say one man die for everybody; so then everybody don die. 15  And e die for everybody so that people wey dey alive no go live for theirself again, but them go live for the person wey die for them and wey come back to life. 16  So from now, we no de see anybody for the way people de see-am.* Even if before, we de see Christ for the way people de see-am,* true-true, we no de see-am for that way again. 17  So if anybody dey as one with Christ, e don be new person wey God make; the old things don pass; see! new things don dey. 18  But everything na from God wey use Christ to help us make peace with-am, and give us the work to help people make peace with-am. 19  This one mean say, God de use Christ to help the world make peace with God. E no de count their sins against them, and e don put for our hand the message wey de help people make peace with-am. 20  So, we be special messengers* wey de stand for Christ, since God de beg through us. As people wey de stand for Christ, we de beg say: “Make una make peace with God.” 21  The person wey no know sin, God give-am as sacrifice* for us, so that God fit use-am to make us be people wey de do the correct thing as God want.
