Second Corinthians 7:1-16

  • Make we clean ourself from every dirty (1)

  • The joy wey Paul get for the Christians for Corinth (2-4)

  • Titus bring good report (5-7)

  • To dey sad for the way wey God want and to repent (8-16)

7  So my dear brothers and sisters, since we get this promise them, make we clean ourself from every dirty for body and spirit, and dey holy for complete way as we de fear God.  Make una accept us for una hearts. We no do anybody bad, we no spoil anybody, we no deceive anybody for our own gain.  I no de talk this one to condemn una. I don talk before say una dey inside our hearts so that we go die together and live together.  I really dey free to talk to una, I really de boast about una. I really get comfort; the joy wey I get overplenty, even with all the trouble wey we de face.  True-true, when we reach Mac·e·do′ni·a, our body* no rest at all, but we continue to get trouble for every way—troubles for outside, fear for inside.  But God wey de comfort people wey really dey sad use Titus to give us comfort as e come visit* us;  and no be only say we get comfort as e dey around, but na still because of the comfort wey e don get because of una, as e tell us say una really want see me, una de really feel pain, and una de really worry about* me; so this one make me even happy more.  Even if my letter make una dey sad, I no regret-am. Even if I don first regret-am (as I see say the letter make una dey sad, even though say na only for small time),  now I de happy, no be just because una dey sad, but na because as una dey sad, this one make una repent. Una dey sad for the way wey God want, so that no bad thing happen to una because of us. 10  To dey sad for the way wey God want de make person repent and this one de make God save person, regret no dey this one; but to dey sad like the world de bring death. 11  See the better gain wey una don get as una try una best to dey sad for the way wey God want, true-true, una don clear unaself from blame, una really feel bad, una get fear, una do una best, una put all una heart, yes, una correct the bad thing! For every way una show say una dey pure* for this matter. 12  Even though say I don write to una, I no do this one because of the person wey do bad thing, and no be because of the person wey them do bad thing to, but na so that for God eye, the way una de try una best for us fit show among una. 13  Na because of that one we don get comfort. But apart from our comfort, we even happy more because of the joy wey Titus get as all of una encourage-am.* 14  I don boast about una to Titus, una no make me shame; but just as all the things wey we tell una na true, na so too the boast wey we boast to Titus don be true. 15  And the deep love wey e get for una de grow more-more when e remember the way all of una de obey, and how una receive-am with fear and deep respect. 16  I de happy say for everything, I fit really trust una.*
