  • Lie-lie teachers go dey (1-3)

  • Judgment of lie-lie teachers go surely come (4-10a)

    • Angels wey God throw inside Tartarus (4)

    • Flood; Sodom and Gomorrah (5-7)

  • Wetin lie-lie teachers de do (10b-22)

2  But just as e be that time say, lie-lie prophets be dey for Israel, na so lie-lie teachers go still dey among una. Small-small, this people go start to form different-different group wey go destroy una faith, and them go even deny the person wey buy them and this one go make their destruction come quick-quick.  Another thing be say, plenty people go join them de open eye do bad things without shame,* and because of them, people go talk bad things about the truth wey we don learn.  And because them get long-throat, them go de tell una lie-lie so that them go fit deceive una. But the judgment wey God don give them tey-tey de come with speed, and e go surely destroy them.  True-true, God no leave the angels wey sin make them go free, but e punish them. E throw them inside Tar′ta·rus,* and e tie them with chain and put them for deep darkness until them go face the judgment wey e don decide.  Na so God no still leave the world wey dey before, e punish them. But e protect Noah wey be de preach about wetin correct for God eye, and seven other people, when e use water destroy the people wey no obey God.  And as e burn the cities of Sod′om and Go·mor′rah to ashes, e punish them and e use-am as example of wetin go happen to people wey no de obey God.  But e save Lot, wey be righteous person, wey no happy at all because of the way the wicked people de open eye de do bad things without shame.*  Because when that righteous man de live among them, na everyday the wicked things* wey them de do wey e de see and hear de make-am vex no be small.  So, Jehovah know how to save people wey de serve-am with all their heart from problem, but e still know how to keep people wey de do bad, so that e go destroy them for judgment day, 10  especially the people wey want try spoil other people and wey no de respect people wey get authority. Them no de fear, them stubborn, and them de talk anyhow about people wey God honor. 11  Even angels wey be say them strong and get power pass them no de use bad word talk about them, because of the respect wey the angels get for Jehovah. 12  But this men de talk bad about things wey them no know. Them be like animals wey no de think, wey de do things as body move them, wey be say them born them to catch them and kill them. Them go destroy them because of the bad things wey them de do. 13  Na the price wey them go get be that because of the bad things wey them de do. Them de see-am as enjoyment to do the things wey their body want, even for daytime. Them be like stain and marks wey de spoil the congregation. Them de really like to deceive people with the things wey them de talk as them dey with una when una gather to chop together. 14  E de really hungry them to sleep with person wey no be their husband or wife* and them no de fit stop to sin. And them de deceive people wey their faith dey weak,* them don use long-throat train their heart, them be children wey them don curse. 15  Them don make them miss road as them leave the correct road. Them don follow the road wey Ba′laam the son of Be′or follow as e really like wetin e go get from the bad thing wey e do. 16  But them correct-am as e no gree do wetin correct. Donkey wey no fit talk come de talk like person so that e go fit stop the prophet make e no do the foolish thing wey e want do. 17  Them be like well wey water no dey inside, and like cloud wey strong breeze de blow up and down, and them don keep one place for them wey them go stay, wey deep-deep darkness dey. 18  Them de talk things wey be like important things, but na useless things them de talk. Them de open eye do different-different bad things without shame* and them de tempt people wey just comot hand from bad things to want start to do the things wey their body want again. 19  The lie-lie teachers de promise them say them go get freedom, but they themself be slave to sin; because anybody wey another person de control, na slave of that person.* 20  If after people don stop to do the dirty things of the world because them don know the correct teaching about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, them come go back to those things and allow them to control them, e mean say their condition don worse pass how e first be. 21  E for better for them make them no know the correct road well, instead of say them don know-am finish, come stop to obey the holy commandment wey them give them. 22  Na wetin them talk for this proverb na im don happen to them, say: “The dog don go back to the things wey e vomit, and the pig wey them don wash im body don go de rub body for potopoto again.”
