1  Me, Paul, wey dey with Sil·va′nus* and Timothy, de write to the congregation for Thes·sa·lo′ni·ca wey dey as one with God our Papa and the Lord Jesus Christ:  Make the special favor and peace from God our Papa and the Lord Jesus Christ dey with una.  My brothers, we de always make sure say we de thank God for una. This one na the correct thing to do because una faith de strong more-more and the love wey una de show each other de grow more-more.  Na this one make us de praise una among the congregations of God, because una de endure and una de show faith even as people de suffer una and things hard for una.*  This one prove say God de judge for the correct way and this one go make una qualify for the Kingdom of God wey una de really suffer for.  Since this one show say God de do the correct thing, e go punish people wey de make una suffer.  But una wey de suffer go dey free together with us when the Lord Jesus go appear* from heaven with im powerful angels,  with big fire. That time, e go punish people wey no know God and people wey no obey the good news about our Lord Jesus.  Our Lord go judge this people and destroy them forever as their punishment, so that e no go see them again and them no go see the kind honor and power wey e get. 10  When our Lord go come that time to get honor with* im holy ones, all the people wey show faith go praise-am that day. Una go dey among them because una believe the things wey we tell una. 11  Na because of this one we de always pray for una say, make our God see una as people wey e fit call, and make e use im power complete all the good things wey e want do, and help una complete all the work wey una faith de move una to do. 12  This one na to make the name of our Lord Jesus get honor through una, and to make una get honor as one with-am because of the special favor of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
