21  After we force ourself leave them, we enter boat go straight and reach Cos. And the next day we go Rhodes, and from there, we go Pat′a·ra.  When we see ship wey de cross go Phoe·ni′cia, we enter-am and move.  After we reach where we fit see the island of Cy′prus, we pass-am for our left side de go Syria and then we reach Tyre, where the ship want offload the load wey e carry.  We find the disciples and see them, and we stay there for seven days. But the spirit move them to continue to tell Paul say make e no go Jerusalem.  So when our visit for there end, we comot and start to go. But all of them, together with the women and children, follow us until we reach outside the city. And we kneel down for the beach and pray  and we tell each other bye-bye. Then we enter the ship and them go back to their house.  So we complete the journey from Tyre and reach Ptol·e·ma′is with ship, and we greet the brothers and stay with them for one day.  The next day, we comot and come Caes·a·re′a. We enter the house of Philip wey be person wey de preach and wey be one of the seven men, and we stay with-am.  This man get four daughters wey never marry* wey de talk message from God. 10  But after we don stay there for some days, one prophet wey im name na Ag′a·bus come down from Ju·de′a. 11  And e come meet us and take Paul belt and tie im own legs and hands and talk say: “The holy spirit talk say, ‘Na like this Jew people go tie the man wey get this belt for Jerusalem, and them go give this man to people of the nations.’” 12  Now when we hear this one, we and the people wey dey there start to beg Paul make e no go up to Jerusalem. 13  Then Paul answer say: “Wetin una de do as una de cry and de try to change my mind?* I want make una know say I no only ready make them chain me, but I still ready to die for Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14  When e no gree change im mind, we stop to beg-am* and talk say: “Make the thing wey Jehovah want happen.” 15  Now after this one, we ready for the journey and start to go Jerusalem. 16  Some of the disciples from Caes·a·re′a still go with us. Them take us go see Mna′son of Cy′prus, wey be one of the first disciple and na for im house we want stay as visitors. 17  When we reach Jerusalem, the brothers welcome us with joy. 18  But the next day, Paul follow us go meet James, and all the elders dey there. 19  And e greet them and start to tell them everything wey God do among people of the nations with im preaching work. 20  After them hear this one, them start to praise God but them tell-am say: “Our brother, you see how plenty thousands of Jew people don believe the good news and all of them de use all their heart de follow the Law. 21  But them don hear people de talk about you say you don de teach all the Jew people among the nations to turn against the Law of Moses, and de tell them say make them no circumcise their children or de follow the tradition wey don dey since. 22  So, wetin we go do about-am? Them go surely hear say you don come. 23  So do wetin we tell you: We get four men wey don make promise to God. 24  Go with this men and make yourself clean as the Law talk together with them and pay for the things wey them need, so that them go shave their head. Then everybody go know say the things wey them de hear about you na lie, but say you de do things for the correct way and you still de obey the Law. 25  As for people among the nations wey don believe the good news, we don write letter send to them about wetin we decide, say make them run from things wey people sacrifice to idols and from blood, from animals wey them no cut their neck,* and from sex wey no clean.* 26  Then Paul go with the men the next day and make imself dey clean together with them as the Law talk. And e go the temple to talk when the days go complete to make theirself dey clean and when the priest go give the sacrifice for each of them. 27  Now when the seven days want end, as the Jew people from Asia see Paul for the temple, them move all the people to make trouble, and them catch-am. 28  And them shout say: “People of Israel, make una help! Na this man de teach everybody for everywhere to dey against our people and our Law and this place. And ontop that one, e even bring Greek people come inside the temple and e don make this holy place no dey holy again.” 29  Because for the city, them don first see Troph′i·mus wey come from Ephʹe·sus with Paul, and them believe say Paul bring-am come inside the temple. 30  The whole city start riot, and the people start to run together and hold Paul and drag-am go outside the temple, and just that time them close the doors. 31  As them de try to kill Paul, the commander for one group of soldiers hear say confusion dey for the whole Jerusalem; 32  and at once e take soldiers and army officers and run go meet them. When them see the army commander and the soldiers, them stop to beat Paul. 33  Then the army commander come near the place and arrest Paul and command say make them chain-am with two chains; then e ask who Paul be and wetin e do. 34  But some of the people start to shout one thing, another people de shout another thing. So as e no fit find out wetin de really happen because of the noise wey them de make, e command say make them take-am go where soldiers de live. 35  But when e reach the steps, the soldiers need to carry-am because the people de try to do-am bad, 36  since plenty people continue to follow them and de shout say: “Kill-am!” 37  As them want take Paul enter where the soldiers de live, e tell the army commander say: “Abeg, I fit tell you something?” The commander ask-am say: “You sabi speak Greek language? 38  So no be you be that Egypt person wey make people fight against government some time ago and take 4,000 dagger men go wilderness?” 39  Then Paul talk say: “The truth be say, I be Jew person from Tarsus wey dey for Ci·li′cia, I come from important city. So I de beg you say make you allow me talk to the people.” 40  After e allow Paul, Paul stand for the step, e use im hand do sign for the people.
