Acts 3:1-26
3 Now Peter and John be de go temple for the hour of prayer, the ninth hour,*

6 But Peter talk say: “I no get silver and gold, but na wetin I get I go give you. For the name of Jesus Christ wey come from Naz·a·reth, stand up and waka!”
7 So e hold-am for im right hand and raise-am up. At once, im feet and im ankles just strong,
8 and e jump stand up, e start to de waka and follow them enter the temple, de waka and de jump and de praise God.
9 And all the people see-am as e de waka and de praise God.
10 And them start to see-am clear say na the man wey be de sitdown for the Beautiful Gate for temple, de wait for gifts wey them de give to help poor people. Them really surprise, and them happy no be small for wetin don happen to the man.
11 As the man still de hold Peter and John, all the people run together go meet them for place wey them de call Sol′o·mon Veranda, and them really surprise no be small.
12 When Peter see this one, e tell the people say: “People of Israel, why una de surprise like this and why una de look us like say na our own power we use do-am or like say na because we de serve God well make us fit make-am waka?
13 The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our papa-papa them, don honor im Servant, Jesus, wey una give people to kill and deny-am for front of Pilate, even though say Pilate don decide to free-am.
14 True-true, una deny that holy and righteous person and una talk say make them give una man wey de kill people,
15 and una kill the Main Leader of life. But God bring-am back to life and we see this one.
16 And through im name, and because of the faith wey we get for im name, this man wey una see and know, God don make-am strong. The faith wey we get because of Jesus don make this man well for body finish, for front of all of una.
17 And now, my brothers, I know say una do wetin una do because una no know, just like the people wey de rule una don do too.
18 For this way, God don do the things wey e use all im prophets talk before, say im Christ go suffer.
19 “So, make una repent and turn back so that God go wipe una sins comot, and Jehovah* go de make una strong again*
20 and e fit send the Christ wey e don choose for una, wey be Jesus.
21 E go remain for heaven until the time wey everything go dey new, just the way God don use im holy prophets talk for old time.
22 True-true Moses talk say: ‘Jehovah una God go raise one prophet like me for una from among una brothers, una must listen to anything wey e tell una.
23 The truth na say, anybody wey no listen to that prophet, God go destroy-am finish from the people.’
24 And all the prophets from Samuel and the ones wey follow Samuel, all of them wey don talk, don still talk about this days for clear way.
25 Una be children of the prophets and of the agreement wey God make with una papa-papa them, and e tell Abraham say: ‘And because of your pikin,* all the family for the earth go get blessing.’
26 After God bring im servant back to life, e send-am to una first to bless una, as e help each one of una to turn comot from the wicked things wey una de do.”
