Acts 7:1-60
7 But the high priest talk say: “This things na true?”

7 God talk say, ‘And I go judge that nation wey them go be slave for, and after this things them go come out and go do holy service for me for this place.’
8 “E still make one agreement with Abraham say e must circumcise together with all im sons. And e come be Isaac papa and circumcise-am for the eighth day, and Isaac come be Jacob papa,* and Jacob come be papa of the 12 family heads.
9 And the family heads start to jealous Joseph and sell-am to Egypt people. But God dey with-am,
10 and e save-am from all the things wey e suffer and show-am favor and give-am sense for the eyes of Phar′aoh wey be king of Egypt. And Phar′aoh choose-am to dey in charge of Egypt and im whole palace.
11 But hunger come dey for the whole of Egypt and Ca′naan, yes, na really serious suffer happen and our papa-papa them no fit see anything to chop.

13 When them go the second time, Joseph make im brothers know who e be and Phar′aoh know about Joseph family.

18 until another king start to rule Egypt, and this one no know Joseph.

29 As Moses hear this one, e run comot and e go de live as stranger for the land of Mid′i·an. For there, e come be papa to two sons.
30 “After 40 years don pass, one angel appear to-am inside fire for one chuku-chuku tree for the wilderness wey dey around Mount Si′nai.
31 When Moses see-am, e really surprise for wetin e see. But as e de come near to check, e hear Jehovah voice de talk say:
32 ‘I be the God of your papa-papa them, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’ Moses start to shake and e no try to check again.
33 Jehovah tell-am say: ‘Remove the sandals from your leg because the place wey you de stand na holy ground.
34 True-true, I don see the suffer wey them de suffer my people for Egypt, and I don hear the cry for inside their heart, and I don come down to save them. Now come, I go send you go Egypt.’
35 This same Moses wey them deny and talk say: ‘Who choose you as ruler and judge?’ na the same person God send to rule and save im people when e use the angel appear to-am for the chuku-chuku tree.
36 This man lead them come out, e do wonderful things and signs for Egypt and for the Red Sea and for the wilderness for 40 years.
37 “Na this one be the Moses wey tell the children of Israel say: ‘God go raise one prophet like me for una from among una brothers.’
38 This na the person wey come dey among the congregation for wilderness with the angel wey talk to-am for Mount Si′nai and with our papa-papa them, and God give-am the holy message them wey dey alive make e give us.
39 Our papa-papa them no gree obey-am, but them reject-am and for their heart, them go back to Egypt.
40 Them tell Aaron say: ‘Make you make gods for us to lead us, because we no know wetin don happen to this Moses wey lead us comot from the land of Egypt.’
41 So them make one young bull that time and bring sacrifice to the idol and start to enjoy theirself with wetin them don make with their hand.
42 So God leave them and allow them to worship the sun, moon, and stars for heaven, just as them don write-am for the book of the Prophets say: “The offerings and sacrifice them wey una do for 40 years for wilderness no be for me, O people of Israel, na for me?
43 But una carry the tent of the god wey im name na Mo′loch and the star of the god wey im name na Re′phan. Na their image una make to worship. So I go make people catch una and carry una go the place wey far pass Babylon.’
44 “Our papa-papa them get the tent wey show say God dey with them for the wilderness, just as God command when e tell Moses to make-am the same way wey e don see-am.
45 And our papa-papa them receive-am and bring-am come with Joshua inside the land wey people of the nations get, people wey God drive comot for the time of our papa-papa them. Na here e dey till the time of David.
46 God show David favor and David beg say make e get the honor to make place wey the God of Jacob go stay.
47 But na Sol′o·mon build house for-am.
48 But, the Person Wey High Pass no de stay for house wey them make with hand, just as the prophet talk say:
49 ‘Heaven na my throne and the earth na stool wey I de put my leg ontop. Which kind house una go build for me? Na so Jehovah talk. Or where the place wey I go stay?
50 Na my hand make all this things, no be so?’
51 “Stubborn people and people wey their heart and ear no de feel anything,* una always dey against the holy spirit. As una papa-papa them do, na so una de do too.
52 Which one of the prophets una papa-papa them no suffer? True-true, them kill people wey don first talk about the righteous person wey de come, the person wey una don give to the enemies and kill now,
53 una wey God use angels give the Law to, but una no obey-am.”
54 Well, as them hear this things, them really vex* for inside their heart and start to grind their teeth as them de look-am.
55 But holy spirit enter-am,* e look heaven and see the glory of God and see Jesus de stand for the right hand side of God,
56 and e talk say: “See! I see heaven open and the Son of man de stand for the right hand side of God.”
57 With this one, them shout with all their voice and use their hand cover their ear and all of them run go meet-am together.
58 After them throw-am go outside the city, them start to stone-am. The people wey lie against-am give the cloth wey them de wear ontop to one young man wey them de call Saul.
59 As them de stone Stephen, e beg say: “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”*
60 Then as e kneel down, e shout with strong voice say: “Jehovah, no hold them for this sin.” And after e talk this one, e die.*
