Ephesians 1:1-23
1 Me, Paul, wey be apostle of Christ Jesus because na wetin God want, de write to the holy ones wey dey Eph′e·sus and wey dey faithful as one with Christ Jesus:
2 Make the special favor and peace from God our Papa and the Lord Jesus Christ dey with una.
3 Make the God and Papa of our Lord Jesus Christ get the praise because e don bless us with every blessing of the spirit for heaven* as people wey be one with Christ,
4 as e don choose us to be one with-am* before the world start, so that we go dey holy and no go get stain for im front because of love.
5 E don already decide to make us im own children through Jesus Christ because of wetin e like and wetin e want,
6 to bring praise to im wonderful special favor wey e use im dear Son give us with open hand.
7 With the help of this Son we don dey free because of the price wey them pay with the blood of that person, true-true, God go forgive our sins, because im special favor plenty no be small.
8 God make us get plenty of this special favor together with all sense and understanding*
9 as e make us know the holy secret of wetin e want. This one agree with wetin e like and wetin e don get for mind to do
10 so that e go arrange* things when the time wey e fix don complete, to gather everything together as one with Christ, the things for heaven and the things for earth. True-true, na as one with Jesus
11 the person wey we be one with, and wey God don choose us with to inherit the blessing, because e don already decide-am and this one agree with wetin e get for mind and e de do everything as e don decide-am according to wetin e want.
12 This one na so that we wey don be first to get hope for Christ go work to bring praise and honor to God.
13 But una still get hope for Christ after una don hear the word of truth, wey be the good news say God go save una. After una believe, una receive the stamp through Christ with the holy spirit wey God don promise.
14 The spirit na proof wey we don receive to show* say we go inherit wetin God don promise, so that the people wey be God own go dey free because of the price wey e pay to free them, to bring honor and praise to God.
15 Na this one still be the reason why since I don hear about the faith wey una get for the Lord Jesus and the love wey una show for all the holy ones,
16 I no stop to thank God for una. I continue to mention una for my prayers,
17 say make the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Papa wey get honor, give una spirit wey go make una really get sense and understand wetin e de show una as una de learn the correct teaching about God.
18 E don open una heart to see clear so that una fit know the kind hope wey e call una for, the kind better-better things wey dey wonderful wey e don promise to give the holy ones,
19 and how im great power wey e de show us wey believe the good news, really dey surplus. This one de show for the work wey e de use im mighty power de do,
20 wey e show when e bring Christ come back to life and make-am sitdown for im right hand side for heaven.*
21 E high pass every government and authority and power and ruler, and every important name, no be only for this world,* but na still for the world wey de come.
22 God still put everything under im control* and make-am to be head of everything for the congregation
23 wey be im body, wey complete with everything about Christ, the person wey de complete everything for every way.
