Ephesians 2:1-22
2 Apart from that one, God make una dey alive even though say una be don die for inside una mistakes and sins.
2 One time una be de do like that, de waka follow the way this world de do things,* de follow the ruler wey get power to control the air, wey be the spirit wey de work now for inside people wey no de obey.
3 True-true, e get one time wey we dey among them de follow wetin our body like, de do wetin our body want and wetin our mind tell us. And from when them born us, we don be children wey God suppose vex for, just like the rest.
4 But as God de show plenty mercy and because of im great love wey e get for us,
5 e don make us dey alive together with Christ, even when we be don die for inside our sins—na im special favor save una.
6 Apart from that one, e raise us up together and make us sitdown together for heaven* as one with Christ Jesus,
7 so that for the world* wey de come, e fit open hand show us plenty special favor wey no get equal as people wey be one with Christ Jesus.
8 Na this special favor God don use save una because of una faith and this one no be because of una own power; instead, na gift from God.
9 No, no be because of the things wey person don do, so that nobody go get reasons to boast.
10 We be handwork of God* and e make us as one with Christ Jesus to do good works, wey God don already arrange for us to do.
11 So, make una remember say e get one time wey “people wey them don circumcise” with human hand de call una wey be people of the nations from when them born una,* say una be “people wey them no circumcise.”
12 That time, una no get Christ, una no dey part of the nation of Israel, una be strangers for the agreement of the promise. Una no get hope that time and una no get God for the world.
13 But now, una don be one with Christ, una wey be dey far-far don come near because of the blood of Christ.
14 Na Christ be our peace, the person wey make the two groups to be one and destroy the wall wey dey the middle, wey separate them.
15 E use im flesh end the thing wey make them to be enemy, and this one na the Law wey get commandments and different-different laws. E do this one so that e go fit make the two groups to be one with-am to form one new man and to make peace,
16 and to use the torture pole* bring the two group of people together as one body to be friend with God, because e don use imself kill the thing wey make them enemy.
17 And e come, and preach the good news of peace to una wey be dey far-far, and peace to people wey dey near,
18 because through im sacrifice we, wey dey the two group of people, dey free to pray to the Papa through one spirit.
19 So una no be strangers and people wey come from another place again, but una come from the same nation like the holy ones,* and una be members for the house of God,
20 and God don build una ontop the foundation of the apostles and prophets, and na Christ Jesus be the main stone for the foundation.
21 As one with Christ, the whole building wey join together as one de grow to be holy temple for Jehovah.
22 As one with Christ, God don still build una together to become one place wey e go live as im spirit dey there.
