Galatians 1:1-24
1 Me, Paul, wey be apostle, but no be from people or through person, but na through Jesus Christ and God our Papa wey bring Jesus back to life.
2 Me and all the brothers wey dey with me de greet the congregations for Ga·la′ti·a:
3 Make the special favor and peace from God our Papa and the Lord Jesus Christ dey with una.
4 E give imself for our sins so that e fit save us from the wicked world of our time,* because na wetin our God and Papa want.
5 Make God get the honor forever and ever. Amen.
6 I surprise say una de turn comot* quick-quick from the Person wey call una with the special favor of Christ to another kind of good news.
7 No be say another good news dey; but some kind people dey wey de cause trouble for una and them want spoil the good news about Christ.
8 But, even if we or angel from heaven preach good news to una wey different from the good news wey we don preach to una, make that person be person wey them don curse.
9 As we don talk before, I de talk-am again now say, Anybody wey de preach good news to una wey different from wetin una don accept, make e be person wey them don curse.
10 So now, na people I de try to get favor from or na God? Or I de try to make people happy? If na people I still de make happy, I no go be slave of Christ.
11 Because my brothers, I want make una know say the good news wey I preach to una no come from people,
12 because I no receive-am from any person and nobody teach me, but na Jesus Christ show me.
13 True-true, una don hear about the way I behave before when I dey the religion of Jew people, say I continue to really suffer the congregation of God and de scatter-am.
14 And for the religion of Jew people, I be de do well pass many people for my nation wey dey my age, and for the traditions of my papa-papa them, I put all my heart pass them by far.
15 But when God wey separate me from my mama belle and use im special favor call me, see-am say e dey good
16 to show im Son through me so that I fit preach the good news about im Son to the nations, I no go at once to ask anybody;*
17 and I no go* Jerusalem to people wey don be apostles before me, but I go Arabia, and then I come back to Damascus.
18 Then after three years, I go Jerusalem go visit Ce′phas* and I stay with-am for 15 days.
19 But I no see any of the other apostles, na only James the brother of the Lord I see.
20 Now as for the things wey I de write to una, true-true I de tell una for front of God say I no de lie.
21 After that one, I go the area of Syria and Ci·li′cia.
22 But the congregations for Ju·de′a wey dey as one with Christ no know me for face.
23 The only thing wey them be de hear na: “The man wey suffer us before, now e don de preach the good news about the faith wey e de scatter before.”
24 So them start to praise God because of me.
