Galatians 3:1-29
3 O Ga·la′tia people, una no get sense! Who don deceive una with this evil thing, una wey them don really explain Jesus Christ to as person wey them nail ontop the pole?

3 Una no get sense at all? After una don start to follow the way of the spirit,* una de end-am with wetin una body want?*
4 Una suffer plenty things for nothing? I no sure say na for nothing.
5 So the person wey de give una the spirit and de do miracles among una, de do-am because una de obey law or na because of una faith for wetin una don hear?
6 Just as Abraham “put faith for Jehovah and this one make God see-am* as righteous person.”
7 True-true una know say na people wey get faith be sons of Abraham.
8 Now because the word of God don already see say God go talk say people of the nations dey righteous because of faith, so the word of God tell Abraham the good news before time say: “Because of you, all the nations go get blessing.”
9 So people wey get faith don get blessing together with Abraham wey get faith.
10 Everybody wey trust the things wey them de do to obey the law dey under curse, because them don write-am say: “Anybody wey no continue to do all the things wey them write for the book* of the Law, na person wey them don curse.”
11 Another thing be say, e dey clear say law no go fit make person dey righteous with God because “person wey dey righteous go live because of faith.”
12 Now the Law no get anything to do with faith. Instead, “anybody wey de do this things go live because of them.”
13 Christ buy us and free us from the curse wey the Law put us as e collect the curse instead of us, because them don write-am say: “Anybody wey them hang ontop pole, na person wey them don curse.”
14 This one happen so that through Christ Jesus, the nations go get the blessing wey God promise Abraham, so that we fit get the spirit wey God don promise because of our faith.
15 My brothers, I de use example of wetin people de do to talk say once them don stamp agreement, even if na only human dey for the agreement, nobody de cancel-am or de add other things to the agreement.
16 Now God give the promise them to Abraham and to im pikin.* The word of God no talk say, “and to your pikin them,”* wey mean plenty. Instead, the word of God talk say, “and to your pikin,”* wey mean one, and na Christ.
17 Another thing wey I de talk na say: The Law wey come after 430 years no end the agreement wey God don first make, wey for cancel the promise.
18 If the reward na because of law, then no be because of promise again, but God don open hand give-am to Abraham through promise.
19 So why the Law dey? Them bring-am to show the mistakes wey people de do, until the pikin* wey God don give the promise go come; and God use angels give the Law to the middleman wey pass-am to the people.
20 Now middleman no dey if na just one person the matter concern, but God na the only person.
21 So, the Law dey against the promise them wey God give? E no fit ever happen! Because if the law wey them don give fit give life, then people go don really dey righteous because of the law.
22 But the Word of God put everything under the control of sin so that people wey de show faith go fit receive the promise wey de come because of faith for Jesus Christ.
23 But, before the faith come, the law be de protect us, e de control us and we be de wait for* the faith wey God want show.
24 So the Law protect us* and lead us to Christ so that God fit talk say we dey righteous because of faith.
25 But now wey the faith don come, we no need something to protect us* again.
26 True-true, all of una na sons of God because of una faith for Christ Jesus.
27 All of una wey don baptize inside Christ don be like Christ.*
28 E no matter whether person na Jew or Greek, e no matter whether person na slave or free person, e no matter whether person na man or woman, because all of una na one together with Christ Jesus.
29 Apart from that one, if na Christ get una, una really be Abraham pikin,* people wey go inherit the blessing wey concern the promise.
