Galatians 5:1-26
5 Because of this kind freedom, Christ make una dey free. So, make una stand strong, and make una no allow unaself be slave* again.
2 See! Me Paul, I de tell una say if una circumcise, Christ no go be any gain for una.
3 Again, I de remind everybody wey circumcise say e must obey everything wey the Law talk.
4 Una don dey separate from Christ, una wey de try make God talk say una dey righteous because of law; una don fall comot from im special favor.
5 For us, we de really wait for the hope wey we get to dey righteous for way wey go only dey possible through the spirit and because of our faith.
6 For people wey be one with Christ Jesus, whether person circumcise or e no circumcise, this one no dey important. But the thing wey dey important na faith wey de work through love.
7 Una be de run well. Who stop una make una no continue to obey the truth?
8 This kind way wey them make una change una mind no come from the Person wey de call una.
9 Na small yeast de make the whole flour wey them don mix to rise.
10 I dey sure say una wey be one with the Lord no go think for different way; but the person wey de cause trouble for una, no matter who e be, e go get the judgment wey e suppose get.
11 My brothers, as for me, if I still de preach say make people circumcise, why them still de suffer me? If na so, the torture pole* wey de make people vex* no dey again.
12 I wish say the men wey de try to confuse una go cut their flesh comot.*
13 My brothers, God don call una to dey free; only say make una no use this freedom as chance to pursue the things wey una body want, but make love move una to be slave for each other.
14 The whole Law don show clear* for one commandment wey be: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.”
15 But if una continue to cause pain and cause suffer for* each other, this one fit make una destroy unaself if una no dey careful.
16 But I de talk say, Make the spirit continue to guide the way una de do things* and una no go do anything wey una body want at all.
17 Because the body dey against the spirit for the things wey the body want, and the spirit dey against the body; the two no de agree with each other, so that una no go do the things wey una want do.
18 Another thing be say, if na the spirit de direct una, una no dey under law.
19 Now the things wey body want make person de do de really show clear and them be sex wey no clean,* things wey no clean, to open eye de do bad things with no shame,*
20 to worship idols, to do things with demons,* to be enemies, fight-fight, jealousy, to de vex anyhow, serious quarrel-quarrel, to de cause separation, to de support different-different groups,
21 bad belle, to de overdrink, party wey people de behave anyhow, and things like this. I de warn una about this things now, the same way wey I don already warn una before, say people wey de do this kind things no go enter* the Kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit wey the spirit de produce na love, joy, peace, to dey patient, to dey kind, to dey good, faith,
23 gentle heart, self-control. No law dey against this kind things.
24 Another thing be say, people wey de follow Christ Jesus don nail the body* join the pole together with the things wey de hungry the body and the things wey the body want.
25 If na the spirit de guide the way we de live, make we still continue to do things for the correct way as the spirit want.*
26 Make we no de feel say we dey too important, no de cause competition with each other, and no de get bad belle for each other.
