Hebrews 1:1-14
1 For olden days, God use prophets talk to our papa-papa them, many times and for many ways.
2 Now for the end of this days, e don use im Son talk to us. Na this Son e choose to inherit everything, and e use-am make the world.*
3 This Son de show the honor wey God get, and e be the exact copy of who God really be, and e de make everything live with im powerful word. And after e don make us clean from our sins, e sitdown for the right hand side of the Great God for heaven.
4 So e don better pass the angels, sotey e don get name wey better pass their own by far.
5 For example, which of the angels God don ever tell say: “You be my son; today I don be your papa”? Or say: “I go be im papa and e go be my son”?
6 But when e bring im Firstborn come the earth again, e talk say: “And make all the angels show-am respect.”*
7 And e talk about the angels say: “E de make im angels to be spirits,* and im servants* to be fire wey de burn.”
8 But e talk about the Son say: “God na your throne forever and ever, and the rod* of your Kingdom na the rod wey de do the correct thing.*
9 You don love the correct thing, and you don hate wetin dey against law. Because of this one, God wey be your God, don anoint you with the oil wey give you more joy pass other people wey be like you.”
10 And: “For the beginning, O Lord, you lay the foundation of the earth, and the heaven na the work of your hand.
11 Them no go dey again, but you go always dey; and just like cloth, all of them go fade,
12 and you go fold them just like dress, and you go change them the way person de change cloth. But you na the same, and your years no go ever end.”
13 But which of the angels God don ever talk about say: “Sitdown for my right hand side until I put your enemies as stool wey you go put your leg ontop”?
14 No be all of them be spirits for holy work,* wey God don send to be servant for people wey e go save?
