  • Make una dey sure of una hope (9-12)

  • The thing wey God promise must happen (13-20)

    • Wetin God promise and swear about no go fit change (17, 18)

6  So, now wey we don leave the first things wey we learn about Christ, make we try our best to mature, make we no start from beginning* again, wey be to repent from useless things and to get faith for God,  the teaching about baptism and wetin e mean to put hand ontop person, the teaching say people wey don die go come back to life and say God go give people judgment wey go last forever.  And we go try our best to mature if God really allow-am.  As for people wey don receive the light before, and wey don taste the free gift from heaven, and wey don receive holy spirit,  and wey don taste the better word of God and the power wey go show clear for the world wey de come,*  but wey don fall comot, e no dey possible to bring them back again make them repent, because them don nail the Son of God for the pole again for theirself and disgrace-am for public.  The ground de receive blessing from God everytime wey rain fall and the water enter inside the ground. Then e go produce crops wey go benefit people wey plant ontop-am.  But if the ground produce chuku-chuku and bad grass, them go reject-am, and small time them go curse-am, and for the end them go burn-am.  But as for una wey we love, we dey sure say better things de come for una, things wey go make God save una, even though say we de talk like this. 10  God no be bad person wey go forget una work and the love wey una don show for im name, as una de help* the holy ones and de continue to help* them. 11  But we want make each of una de show say una continue to work hard so that una go really dey sure of the hope go reach the end. 12  This one go make una no lazy, but una go follow the example of people wey get the promise them, because them get faith and dey patient. 13  When God promise Abraham, e use imself swear because nobody big pass-am* wey e fit use swear, 14  and talk say: “I go surely bless you and I go surely make your children plenty.” 15  So after Abraham don show say e dey patient, e get this promise. 16  People de use person wey big pass them de swear, and this one de end any quarrel, because e prove say wetin them talk na true. 17  For the same way, when God don decide to really show-am clear to the people wey go inherit the promise say wetin e want do* no go fit change at all, e swear to prove-am* say na true, 18  so that because of two things wey no fit change, wey make-am no dey possible for God to lie, we wey don run go where we go get protection go fit really dey strong so that we go hold the hope wey dey for our front tight. 19  We get this hope wey be like anchor for our life,* e dey sure and strong, and e de carry us pass the curtain. 20  Na Jesus first enter there for us, and e don be high priest like Mel·chizʹe·dek forever.
