Letter Wey Jude Write 1:1-25
1 Me, Jude, wey be slave of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, de write to una wey God our Papa don call, una wey e love and keep for Jesus Christ:
2 Make the mercy, peace, and love wey God get for una de plenty more-more.
3 My dear brothers and sisters, I be de do everything wey I fit do to write to una about the things wey all of us de gain as God de save us. But I see say e dey important make I write to encourage una say make una fight hard for the faith. This one na the faith wey them don give the holy people once and for all.
4 My reason na say some kind men don hide enter among una. The Word of God don talk about them since say them go face this judgment. This men no de obey God, them de use the special favor of our God as reason to open eye do bad thing with no shame* and them de show say them don comot from the side of our Lord and the only person wey get us,* Jesus Christ.
5 Even though say una know all this things well, I want make una remember say after Jehovah don save im people from Egypt, e still destroy the ones wey no show faith.
6 And for the angels wey leave their work and the place wey them suppose dey, God don tie them with chain wey no fit cut and put them for deep darkness until their judgment come for the great day.
7 Na so e still be with Sodʹom and Go·morʹrah and the cities wey dey around them. Them put hand for sex wey no clean* and even over do-am, and them do things wey no dey normal wey their body want. As God use fire wey de burn forever to judge and punish them, this one na example to warn us.
8 Even with this one, this men still de think bad-bad things everytime,* them de spoil the body, them no get respect for authority at all, and them de talk bad things about people wey get honor.
9 But when Miʹcha·el the chief angel de argue with Devil about the body of Moses, e no try to judge Devil and use bad word for-am. Instead, e talk say: “Make Jehovah judge you.”
10 But this men de talk bad about all the things wey them no really understand. And even for all the things wey them understand, them understand-am like animals wey no de think. And them de use this things de spoil theirself.
11 Their own don finish, because them don follow the example of Cain and rush follow the bad example of Baʹlaam because them de find gain. Them don destroy theirself as them de talk against people wey de direct them, as Korʹah do.
12 When una gather to chop and show each other love, them dey there with una like rock wey hide under water. Them be shepherds wey no de fear to think about only their belle, them be like cloud wey wind de blow up and down but wey no de bring rain, like trees wey no de produce fruit when their season reach, wey don die finish* and wey them don uproot.
13 Them be like strong wave for sea wey de bring out all the dirty things wey suppose de make them shame. Them be like stars wey no get direction, and God go put them for deep-deep darkness forever.
14 And Eʹnoch, the number seven person from Adam, still talk about wetin go happen to them when e talk say: “See! Jehovah come with im plenty-plenty* holy angels
15 to judge everybody, and to condemn the people wey no de obey God, because of all the bad things wey them do and because of all the wicked things wey this bad people talk against God.”
16 This men de always complain about their condition for life. Them de do the things wey their body want, and de make mouth* about theirself, and them de overpraise people* because of wetin them want gain.
17 My dear brothers and sisters, make una remember the things wey the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ don talk before,
18 as them de always tell una say: “For last days,* people wey de like to laugh good thing go dey, and them go de do the bad things wey their body want.”
19 Na them de make people no dey together as one, them de behave like animal,* and them no get the spirit of God.*
20 But my dear brothers and sisters, make una de use una complete faith wey dey holy to make unaself strong,* and de allow holy spirit de direct una as una de pray.
21 This one go help una continue to do the things wey go make God love una, as una de wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, wey go make una get life wey no go end.
22 Make una still continue to show mercy to the people wey de doubt.
23 And comot them quick-quick from the fire to save them. But continue to show mercy to other people, and make una dey careful as una de do this one, so that their sin no go stain una. Make una really hate their sin.*
24 Our God go fit protect una make una no fall. E fit help una really get joy and continue to dey clean for im front.
25 And to this our only God wey be our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, make praise, honor, power, and authority continue to be im own, as e don always be, now, and forever. Amen.
