Luke 21:1-38
21 Now as e look up, e come see the rich people wey de drop their gifts inside the containers wey them de put money.
2 Then e see one poor widow wey put two small coins wey the value no reach anything.*
3 E come talk say: “True-true, I de tell una say wetin this poor widow put, plenty pass wetin all of them put.
4 Because all of this people put gifts from the plenty wey them get, but as this woman poor reach, e put everything wey e for use care for imself.”
5 Later, when some people de talk about the temple, about how them make-am fine with fine-fine stones and with things wey them offer to God,
6 e come talk say: “As for this things wey una de see so, time de come when them no go ever leave one stone make e remain ontop another stone. Them go fall all of them down.”
7 Then them ask-am say: “Teacher, when this things go really happen and wetin go be the sign wey go show when this things go happen?”
8 E come talk say: “Make una dey careful so that them no go deceive una, because plenty people go use my name come, de talk say, ‘Na me be the person,’ and, ‘The time don near.’ Make una no follow them.
9 Another thing be say, when una hear about wars and katakata, make una no fear. Because this things must first happen, but no be exactly that time the end go come.”
10 Then e tell them say: “Nation go de fight nation, and kingdom go de fight kingdom.
11 Ground go de shake open well-well, and for different-different place, food no go too dey and bad-bad sickness wey go de spread go dey, and people go see things wey go make them fear and them go see wonderful things from heaven.
12 “But before all this things go happen, people go arrest una and suffer una, them go carry una go synagogues and put una for prisons. Them go carry una go front of governors and kings because of my name.
13 This one go make una fit tell them wetin una believe.
14 So, make una make up una mind say una no go first practice wetin una go talk to defend unaself,
15 because I go give una wetin una go talk and sense wey be say even if all the people wey dey against una gather together, them no go fit talk anything against-am or argue-am.
16 Another thing be say even una papa and mama, and brothers and family people and friends go carry una* give government people and them go kill some of una,
17 and everybody go hate una because of my name.
18 But nothing go happen to even one hair for una head.
19 And if una endure, una go save una life.*
20 But when una see army wey surround Jerusalem, make una know say the time wey them go take destroy-am don near.
21 Then make people wey dey Ju·de′a start to run go the mountains, make people wey dey inside-am comot and make people wey dey the village them no enter inside-am,
22 because this na the time wey God go take punish people* so that all the things wey them write go happen.
23 That time, women wey get belle and the ones wey get small baby go suffer, because serious problem go dey for the land and God go really vex for this people.
24 Them go use sword kill some and carry other ones as slaves enter all the nations, and the nations go match Jerusalem for ground until the time wey them give the nations don complete.
25 “Apart from that one, signs go dey for the sun, moon and stars, and the people for the earth go really fear and them no go know wetin to do because of the loud noise wey de come from the sea and the way e don rough.
26 People go faint because of fear and because of the things wey them de expect to happen for this earth, because the powerful things for heaven go shake.
27 Then, them go see the Son of man wey de come for cloud with power and big honor.
28 But as this things start to happen, make una stand up straight and raise una head because the time wey them go save una don de near.”
29 Then e use one example talk to them say: “Make una think about the fig tree and all the other trees.
30 When them don de bring new leaf come out, una de see-am by unaself and know say dry season don near.
31 Na so e still be, when una see as this things de happen, make una know say the Kingdom of God don near.
32 True-true I de tell una say this generation no go ever comot until everything happen.
33 Heaven and earth go comot, but the things wey I talk no go ever fail.
34 “But make una dey careful so that to de chop too much, to de drink too much, and overworry about life no go full una heart sotey that day go come when una no expect,
35 and e go be like trap for una. Because that day go affect everybody wey dey everywhere for the earth.
36 So make una dey awake, and de really beg God for help everytime, so that una go fit survive all this things wey go must happen and fit stand for the front of the Son of man.”
37 So for daytime, e go de teach people for the temple, but for night, e go comot from there go stay for one mountain wey them de call Mount of Olives.
38 And all the people go come meet-am for temple for early morning so that them go listen to-am.
