9 E still tell them say: “True-true, I de tell una say, some people wey stand here no go die at all until them first see the Kingdom of God wey don already start to rule.”
2 After six days, Jesus take Peter, James and John go one high mountain and na only them dey there, and e come change for their front.
3 The cloths wey e wear ontop come start to shine and them white by far pass the way any dry cleaner fit make cloth white for this earth.
4 E·li′jah and Moses still appear for there, and them de talk with Jesus.
5 Then Peter tell Jesus say: “Rabbi, e good say we dey here, so make we build three tent, one for you, one for Moses and one for E·li′jah.”
6 The truth na say, e no know wetin e go do, because fear really catch them.
7 Then cloud gather cover them, and one voice talk from inside the cloud say: “This na my Son wey I love. Make una listen to-am.”
8 But as them just look round, them no see any other person with them again, except Jesus.
9 As them de come down from the mountain, Jesus give them serious warning say make them no tell anybody wetin them don see, until after the Son of man don come back to life.
10 Them put wetin e talk for mind,* but among theirself, them de discuss wetin this come back to life wey e talk mean.
11 And them start to ask-am question say: “Wetin make the scribes de talk say E·li′jah must first come?”
12 E tell them say: “E·li′jah go really first come, and e go make everything go back to how e suppose be; but why them come write about the Son of man say e must really suffer and them go treat-am like say e no be anything?
13 But I de tell una say true-true, E·li′jah don come, but them do-am as them like, just as the word of God don talk about-am.”
14 When them reach where the other disciples dey, them see plenty-plenty people wey gather around them, and the scribe them dey there de argue with them.
15 But as all the plenty people just see-am, them surprise no be small, and them run go meet-am to greet-am.
16 So e ask them say: “Wetin una de follow them argue about?”
17 And one of the plenty people answer-am say: “Teacher, I bring my son come meet you because one spirit dey inside-am wey de make-am no fit talk.
18 Anywhere the spirit hold-am, e go nack-am for ground, and foam go de comot from im mouth and e go de grind im teeth together, and e no go get any power again. I tell your disciples make them pursue-am comot, but them no fit do-am.”
19 E come answer them say: “This generation wey no get faith and wey don spoil, how long I go still stay with una? How long I go continue to bear with una? Make una bring-am come.”
20 So them bring the boy come meet-am, but as the spirit just see Jesus, e make the pikin start to shake well-well,* and after the pikin don fall for ground, e start to roll up and down and foam de comot from im mouth.
21 Then Jesus ask the papa say: “Since when this thing don de do-am?” E talk say: “Na from small pikin,
22 and plenty times, e de throw-am inside fire and still de throw-am inside water to kill-am. But if you fit do anything, pity us and help us.”
23 Jesus tell-am say: “Why you talk say, ‘If you fit’! The truth be say, everything dey possible for person wey get faith.”
24 At once, the pikin papa shout with loud voice and talk say: “I get faith! Help me for where I need faith!”
25 As Jesus see say plenty people de run come the side wey them dey, e command the wicked spirit* and tell-am say: “You this spirit wey de make person no fit talk and no fit hear, I command you, come out of-am, and make you no enter inside-am again!”
26 After the spirit don make the pikin shout well-well and shake-am many times,* e come out, e come be like say the pikin don die, and this one make most of the people de talk say: “E don die!”
27 But Jesus hold-am for hand and raise-am up, and e stand up.
28 So after e enter one house, im disciples ask-am when e dey alone with them say: “Why we no fit pursue-am comot?”
29 E tell them say: “Na only prayer fit make this kind one come out.”
30 Them comot from there and them pass inside Gal′i·lee, but e no want make anybody know about this one.
31 Because e be de teach im disciples and de tell them say: “Them go sell the Son of man give people and them go kill-am, but even though say them kill-am, e go come back to life for the third day.”*
32 But them no understand wetin e mean and fear no let them ask-am question.
33 Them come reach Ca·per′na·um. Now when e don dey inside the house, e ask them say: “Wetin una be de argue about for road?”
34 Them no talk anything, because for road them be de argue with each other about who big pass.
35 So e sitdown and call the 12 apostles and tell them say: “If anybody want be first, e must be last among everybody and be the servant of everybody.”
36 Then e come carry one small pikin and tell-am make e stand for their middle. E put im hand around-am and tell them say:
37 “Anybody wey welcome one of this kind small children because of my name don welcome me too, and anybody wey welcome me, no be only me e welcome, but e don still welcome the Person wey send me.”
38 John tell-am say: “Teacher, we see person wey de use your name pursue demons comot, and we try to stop-am because e no de follow us.”
39 But Jesus talk say: “Make una no try to stop-am, because e no get anybody wey go use my name do miracle wey go fit quick talk any bad thing about me.
40 Because anybody wey no dey against us, dey with us.
41 And anybody wey give una one cup of water to drink because una de follow Christ, true-true, I de tell una say e no go ever lose im blessing.
42 But anybody wey make one of this small ones wey get faith fall, e go better for-am if them carry grinding stone wey donkey de turn, put for im neck, and throw-am inside sea.
43 “If your hand de ever make you fall, cut-am comot. Because e better for you to get life with one hand than to enter with two hand inside Ge·hen′na,* inside the fire wey them no fit quench.
44 *——
45 And if your leg de make you fall, cut-am comot. Because e better for you to get life with one leg than say make them throw you with your two leg inside Ge·hen′na.*
46 *——
47 And if your eye de make you fall, make you troway-am. Because e better make you enter the Kingdom of God with one eye, than say make them throw you with your two eyes inside Ge·hen′na,*
48 where the maggot no de die and them no de quench the fire.
49 “Because them must spread fire ontop everybody, the way them de spread salt ontop food.
50 Salt good, but if the salt ever stop to taste like salt, wetin una go use make-am get taste again? Make una get salt inside unaself, and make una de always make peace dey among una.”
