13 When Jesus comot from the house that day, e go sitdown near the sea.
2 And plenty-plenty people gather come meet-am, so e enter one boat and sitdown and all the people stand for the waterside.
3 Then e use examples tell them many things, say: “See! One farmer go plant seed.
4 As e de plant, some seeds fall near road, and birds come chop them.
5 Other ones fall for area wey rock dey, where soil no too dey, and because the soil no deep, them no waste time before them start to grow.
6 But when sun come out, e dry them, and because them no get root, them come die.
7 Other ones fall for where chuku-chuku dey, and the chuku-chuku grow kill them.
8 But other ones fall for better soil, and them start to produce fruit. Some produce 100 times pass wetin them plant, some 60, and other ones 30.
9 Make person wey get ear listen.”
10 So the disciples come meet-am and ask-am say: “Why you de use examples talk to them?”
11 E answer them say: “Na una them allow to understand the holy secrets about the Kingdom wey dey heaven, but them no allow them.
12 Because anybody wey get, them go give-am more, and e go get plenty. But anybody wey no get, even the one wey e get, them go collect-am from-am.

Them don close their eyes so that them no go ever use their eyes see and use their ear hear. Them don block their heart so that them no go understand wetin them suppose do, and turn back so that I go heal them.’
16 “But make una de happy, because una eyes de see and una ear de hear.

18 “Now make una listen to wetin the example of the man wey go plant seed mean.

20 The one wey fall for area wey rock dey, this na person wey hear the word and quick-quick accept-am with joy.
21 But the word no get root for im heart. E just dey there for short time. So when e face problem and them suffer-am because of the word, e just fall.
22 As for the one wey fall for where chuku-chuku dey, this na person wey hear the word, but overworry about problems for this world* and the power wey money get to deceive people kill the word, e no come produce fruit.
23 As for the one wey fall for better soil, this na person wey hear the word and understand-am, and e really produce fruit. Some produce 100 times pass wetin them plant, some 60, and other ones 30.”
24 E use another example talk to them say: “The Kingdom wey dey heaven be like one man wey plant better seed for im farm.
25 When people de sleep, im enemy come plant grass* join the wheat and comot.
26 When the wheat grow and produce fruit, the grass still grow too.
27 So the slaves of the oga of the house come meet-am and tell-am say, ‘Oga, no be better seed you plant for your farm? So where the grass come from?’
28 E come tell them say, ‘Na one man wey be my enemy do this thing.’ The slaves come tell-am say, ‘You want make we go pull them comot?’
29 E tell them say, ‘No, so that una no go by mistake pull the wheat comot as una de pull the grass comot.
30 Make all of them grow together reach the harvest time. And for harvest time, I go tell the people wey de harvest the things say: Make una first gather the grass and tie them together to burn them. Then make una gather the wheat put inside my storehouse.’”
31 E come use another example talk to them say: “The Kingdom wey dey heaven be like mustard seed wey one man plant for im farm.
32 True-true, na im small pass all the other seeds, but when e don grow, e de big pass all the plant* and turn to tree, so that the birds wey de fly for up go come build house for im branch them.”
33 E use another example talk to them say: “The Kingdom wey dey heaven be like yeast wey one woman mix with three big containers of flour until everything rise.”
34 Na different-different examples Jesus use tell the people all this things. The truth be say, e no de talk to them if e no use example,
35 so that wetin the prophet talk go happen, say: “I go use examples talk, I go talk about the things wey them hide since the world start.”*
36 After e don allow the people go, e come enter inside house. Then im disciples come meet-am and tell-am say: “Tell us wetin the example about the grass wey them plant for the farm mean.”
37 E come answer them say: “The person wey plant the better seed na the Son of man,
38 the farm na the world. The better seed na the sons of the Kingdom, but the grass na the sons of the wicked person.
39 And the enemy wey plant them na the Devil. The time of the harvest na the last days of the world,* and the people wey de harvest the things na angels.
40 So just as them gather the grass and use fire burn-am, na so e go still be for the last days of the world.*
41 The Son of man go send im angels, and them go gather from im Kingdom all the things wey de make people sin,* and all the people wey de do wicked things.*
42 And them go throw them inside fire wey de burn well-well. Na there them go dey, de cry and de grind their teeth.
43 For that time, the righteous people go really shine like sun for the Kingdom of their Papa. Make person wey get ear listen.
44 “The Kingdom wey dey heaven be like something wey get high value, wey them hide for one land. One man come see-am and hide-am again. And because of the joy wey e get, e comot go sell all the property wey e get and buy that land.
45 “Again, the Kingdom wey dey heaven be like business man wey de travel de find better pearls.*
46 As e see one pearl wey the value high, e come go sell everything wey e get quick-quick, and buy-am.
47 “The Kingdom wey dey heaven still be like fishing net wey them throw inside sea, wey catch different-different kind of fish.
48 When the net full, them drag-am comot from the water and draw-am come the waterside, and them come sitdown de select the better-better fish put for different-different container, but the ones wey no good, them troway them.
49 Na so e go still be for the last days of the world.* The angels go come and them go separate wicked people from righteous people,
50 and them go throw them inside fire wey de burn well-well. Na there them go dey, de cry and de grind their teeth.
51 “Una understand wetin all this things mean?” Them come answer-am say: “Yes.”
52 Then e tell them say: “Since una don understand-am, everybody wey be teacher, wey them don teach about the Kingdom wey dey heaven, be like one man, wey be the oga for house, wey de bring out from im store wey e de keep better-better things, new things and old things.”
53 After Jesus don use this examples talk to them finish, e comot from there.
54 When e enter the area wey e grow, e start to teach them for their synagogue. This one surprise them no be small, them come de talk say: “Where this man get this kind sense, and the power to do this miracles?
55 No be the carpenter pikin be this? No be Mary be im mama, and no be James, Joseph, Simon and Judas be im brothers?
56 And no be all im sisters de stay here together with us? So where e come get all this sense and power from?”
57 So this one come make them no believe-am.* But Jesus tell them say: “Them de honor prophet for everywhere apart from im own area and im own house.”
58 And e no do plenty miracle for there, because them no get faith.
