  • The person wey big pass for the Kingdom (1-6)

  • Different-different things wey de make people fall (7-11)

  • Example of the sheep wey lost (12-14)

  • How to get your brother back (15-20)

  • Example of the slave wey no gree forgive (21-35)

18  For that time, the disciples come meet Jesus and ask-am say: “Who really big pass for the Kingdom wey dey heaven?”  So Jesus call one small pikin and tell-am make e stand for their middle,  e come talk say: “True-true, I de tell una say, unless una change and become like small children, una no go ever enter the Kingdom wey dey heaven.  So, anybody wey bring imself down like this small pikin, na that person big pass for the Kingdom wey dey heaven,  and anybody wey welcome this kind small pikin because of my name, don welcome me too.  But anybody wey make one of this small ones wey get faith for me fall, e go better for-am make them carry grinding stone wey donkey de turn, hang for im neck, and throw-am inside sea make e sink.  “E no go better for the world, because of the things for inside wey de make people fall! True-true, things wey de make people fall must come, but e no go better for the person wey go bring this thing wey de make people fall!  So if your hand or your leg de make you fall, cut-am comot and troway-am. Because e better for you to get life with one leg or one hand than say make them throw you with your two hand and two leg inside fire wey de burn forever.  And if your eye de make you fall, pluck-am comot make you troway-am. E better make you get life with one eye than say make them throw you with two eyes inside Ge·hen′na,* the place wey fire dey. 10  Make una make sure say una no treat any one of this small ones as if them no be anything, because I de tell una say their angels for heaven de always look the face of my Papa wey dey heaven. 11  *—— 12  “Wetin una think? If one man get 100 sheep and one of them lost, e no go leave the remaining 99 sheep ontop mountain and go find the one wey lost? 13  And if e see-am, I de tell una the truth say, e go really happy for this one wey e see, pass the 99 wey no lost. 14  For the same way, my* Papa wey dey heaven no go like-am make even one of this small ones die. 15  “Another thing be say, if your brother sin against you, go tell-am wetin e do* when you and am dey alone. If e listen to you, then you don get your brother back. 16  But if e no listen, make you carry one or two people go, so that from wetin two or three people talk,* this one fit confirm say everything wey happen na true. 17  If e no listen to them, tell the congregation. If e no listen to even the congregation, make you take-am as person wey no de serve God* and as person wey de collect tax. 18  “True-true, I de tell una say, anything wey una tie for earth, go be things wey them don already tie for heaven. And anything wey una loose for earth, go be things wey them don already loose for heaven. 19  I still de tell una the truth say, if two of una for earth agree to pray for anything wey dey important, my Papa wey dey heaven go do-am for una. 20  Because for where two or three people gather because of my name, I dey there with them.” 21  Then Peter come meet-am and ask-am say: “Lord, how many times my brother go sin against me wey I go forgive-am? E go reach seven times?” 22  Jesus come tell-am say: “I de tell you say, no be just seven times, but e go reach 77 times. 23  “Na im make the Kingdom wey dey heaven be like one king wey want collect the money wey im slaves de owe-am. 24  When e start to collect im money, them bring one man wey de owe-am 10,000 talents.* 25  But because e no get how e go take pay the money, im oga come talk say make them sell-am and im wife and im children and everything wey e get, and pay the money. 26  So the slave kneel down and bow down for-am, de beg-am say, ‘Give me small time, and I go pay everything wey I owe you.’ 27  So the oga pity for the slave and e let-am go, and e cancel wetin e de owe-am. 28  But when the slave comot from there, e come see another slave wey de owe-am 100 de·nar′i·i. E grab-am, start to press im neck and tell-am say, ‘Pay me everything wey you de owe me.’ 29  So the other slave kneel down and start to beg-am say, ‘Give me small time, I go pay you back.’ 30  But e no gree, instead, e comot and talk say make them put-am for prison until e go pay wetin e de owe-am. 31  When the other slaves see wetin happen, the thing pain them no be small. So them come go tell their oga all the things wey happen. 32  Im oga come call-am and tell-am say: ‘Wicked slave, when you beg me, I cancel everything wey you owe me. 33  You no suppose pity for the other slave just as I pity for you?’ 34  So im oga vex no be small, e come carrry-am give the watchmen for prison say make them put-am for prison until e go pay everything wey e de owe. 35  Na so my Papa wey dey heaven go still do una if each of una no forgive una brother from una heart.”
