Matthew 19:1-30
19 When Jesus don talk this things finish, e come comot from Gal′i·lee and come the area wey the boundary them for Ju·de′a dey, for the other side of Jordan.
2 Plenty-plenty people still follow-am, and e cure them for there.
3 And Pharisee people come meet-am with the mind to test-am. Them come ask-am say: “E good make man divorce im wife because of any kind thing?”
4 E answer them say: “Una never read-am say the person wey make them from the beginning make them man and woman
5 and talk say: ‘Because of this one, man go leave im papa and im mama, and e go dey tight with* im wife, and the two of them go be one flesh’?
6 So them no be two again, but one flesh. Because of this one, the thing wey God don join together, make nobody separate-am.”
7 Them come ask-am say: “So why Moses talk say man suppose give im wife certificate wey show say e don divorce-am and pursue-am comot?”
8 E tell them say: “Na because of how una stubborn reach, na im make Moses allow una to de divorce una wife. But no be so e be from beginning.
9 I de tell una say anybody wey divorce im wife except say the wife put hand for sex wey no clean,* and marry another woman, don sleep with person wey no be im wife.”
10 The disciples come tell-am say: “If na so husband and wife matter be, e better make person no marry.”
11 E come tell them say: “No be everybody de follow this word, but na only the people wey get the gift.
12 Because e get some people wey them born as eunuchs,* and some, na people make them eunuchs, and e still get some wey make theirself eunuchs because of the Kingdom wey dey heaven. Make the person wey fit do like that, do-am.”*
13 Then people come bring small-small children come meet-am so that e go put im hand ontop them and pray for them, but the disciples come de shout for them.
14 But Jesus tell them say: “Leave the small children, make una no try to stop them say make them no come meet me, because the Kingdom wey dey heaven na for people like this.”
15 And e put im hand ontop them, then e come comot from there.
16 Then somebody come meet-am and ask-am say: “Teacher, which good thing I suppose do to fit get life wey no go end?”
17 E come tell-am say: “Why you de ask me about good thing? Na only God good. But if you want get life, make you continue to follow the commandments.”
18 E come ask-am say: “Which ones?” Jesus come tell-am say: “Make you no kill person, make you no sleep with person wey no be your husband or wife, make you no thief, make you no lie for person head,
19 honor your papa and your mama, and you must love your neighbor as yourself.”
20 The young man come tell-am say: “I don de do all this things. Wetin remain wey I never do?”
21 Jesus come tell-am say: “If you want dey perfect,* go sell your property and give the money to poor people and you go get better thing for heaven; and then come de follow me.”
22 When the young man hear this one, e pain-am and e waka comot, because e get plenty property.
23 Jesus come tell im disciples say: “True-true, I de tell una say e go hard for rich person to enter the Kingdom wey dey heaven.
24 I de tell una again say, e easy pass for camel to enter the hole wey dey needle, than for rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples hear wetin e talk, the thing surprise them no be small, them come talk say: “Who them fit really save?”
26 Jesus come look them well-well and tell them say: “For people eye, this one no dey possible, but everything dey possible for God.”
27 Peter come talk say: “See! We don leave everything and follow you, so wetin we go gain?”
28 Jesus come tell them say: “True-true, I de tell una say, when them don make things new, and when the Son of man don sitdown for im wonderful throne, una wey follow me go sitdown for 12 thrones and judge the 12 tribes of Israel.
29 And everybody wey don leave house them, or brothers or sisters, or papa or mama or children or lands because of my name, go get-am back 100 times, and e go still get life wey no go end.
30 “But many people wey be first go be last, and the last go be first.
