20  “Because the Kingdom wey dey heaven be like the oga for one house wey comot for early morning go hire people wey go work for im vine farm.  After e don agree with them say e go pay them one de·nar′i·us for that day, e come send them to go work for im vine farm.  As e comot again for the third hour,* e come see other people wey stand for the market area, wey no get work,  e come tell them say, ‘Make una go work for the vine farm too, and I go pay una how e suppose be.’  So them come go. E come still comot around the sixth hour* and the ninth hour* and do the same thing.  Last-last, e come go again around the 11th hour,* and see other people wey stand for there. E come tell them say, ‘Why una stand for here the whole day and una no de work?’  Them come answer-am say, ‘Na because nobody give us work.’ E come tell them say, ‘Make una go work for the vine farm too.’  “When evening reach, the man wey get the vine farm come call the person wey de take care of the farm, and tell-am say, ‘Call the people wey de do the work and pay them their money, start with the people wey come last and end with the people wey first come.’  When the people wey start work for the 11th hour come, them pay each of them one de·nar′i·us. 10  So when the first people come, them come de think say them go pay them pass like that, but na one de·nar′i·us them pay each of them too. 11  When them collect-am, them start to complain against the oga of the house 12  and talk say, ‘Na only one hour this last people work, but you still pay them the same thing wey you pay us wey work the whole day for the hot sun!’ 13  But e tell one of them say, ‘My friend, I no do you any bad thing. You be gree say make I pay you one de·nar′i·us, no be so? 14  Take your money make you de go. I want give this last people the same thing wey I give you. 15  I no get the right to do anything wey I want with wetin I get? Or you de jealous* because I be better person?* 16  Na so the last people go be first and the first people go be last. 17  As Jesus and im 12 disciples dey road de go up to Jerusalem, e come carry them go corner* and tell them say: 18  “See! Na Jerusalem we de go so, and them go put the Son of man for the hand of the chief priests and the scribes.* Them go judge-am and talk say them must kill-am, 19  and them go carry-am give people wey no de serve God, to use-am do yeye and flog-am, and nail-am for pole make e die, and for the third day, God go bring-am back to life.” 20  Then the mama of the sons of Zeb′e·dee come meet Jesus with im sons, and bow down for-am. E come de beg-am for something. 21  Jesus come ask-am say: “Wetin you want?” E come answer say: “Talk say make this my two sons sitdown with you for your Kingdom, one for your right hand side, and one for your left hand side.” 22  Jesus come talk say: “Una no know wetin una de ask for so. Una fit drink the cup wey I go soon drink?” Them come tell-am say: “We fit.” 23  E come tell them say: “Una go really drink my cup. But no be me go talk who go sitdown for my right hand side or my left hand side. Because na people wey my Papa don arrange-am for, go sitdown for there.” 24  When the other ten hear about-am, them vex for the two brothers no be small. 25  But Jesus call them near body and talk say: “Una know say the people wey de rule for the world de do oga for the people wey them de rule. And the big men de use power control them. 26  No be like that e suppose be among una. But anybody wey want be big man among una, must be una servant. 27  And anybody wey want be first among una must be una slave. 28  Just as the Son of man no come make people serve-am, but e come to serve people and to give im life* as price to free many people.” 29  As them de comot from Jer′i·cho, plenty-plenty people follow-am. 30  And see! two blind men wey sitdown near the road come hear say Jesus de pass, them come de shout say: “Lord, Son of David, pity us!” 31  But the plenty people come de shout for them say make them keep quiet, but them come de shout pass before, de talk say: “Lord, Son of David, pity us!” 32  So Jesus stop, e call them and ask them say: “Wetin una want make I do for una?” 33  Them tell-am say: “Lord, make our eyes open.” 34  Jesus come pity for them, so e touch their eyes. At once, them come de see, and them start to follow-am.
