Revelation 18:1-24

Babylon the Great don fall, and e don be the place wey demons de stay and the place wey all kind of wicked spirit* and all kind of bird wey no clean wey people hate de hide!  Because e don use the wine of im sex wey no clean* wey de hungry-am well-well, to make all the nations dey drunk, and the kings for the earth don do sex wey no clean with-am and e don make the business men* for the earth rich because of the kind big life wey e de live without shame.”  And I hear another voice from heaven wey talk say: “Make una come out from-am my people, if una no want join-am for im sins, and if una no want get any of im punishment.  Because im sins don gather sotey them high reach heaven and God don remember the wicked things* wey e don do.  Do-am back as e don do other people, yes, do-am times two of the things wey e don do; mix times two for-am inside the cup wey e don mix.  Just as e carry imself up and de live big life without shame, make you make the suffer wey e go suffer and the pain wey e go feel reach like that, because e de talk for im heart say: ‘I de rule as queen, and I no be widow and I no go ever mourn.’  Na im make im punishment go come for one day, death and sorrow and hunger, and them go burn-am kpatakpata with fire, because Jehovah God wey judge-am strong.  “And the kings for the earth wey do sex wey no clean* with-am and wey join-am enjoy the big life wey e live without shame go cry well-well and nack theirself as them de cry because of-am when them see the smoke wey de come from the fire wey de burn-am. 10  Them go stand for far place because them de fear say them go suffer like-am, and de talk say: ‘This one really bad, e really bad, you wey be the great city, Babylon, you wey be strong city, because under one hour you don get your punishment!’ 11  “Even the business men for the earth de cry and e de pain them well-well because of-am, because nobody dey again to buy all the things wey them de sell, 12  things wey them de sell like gold, silver, fine-fine stones, pearls, fine linen cloth, purple cloth, silk material, and red cloth and everything wey them make from wood wey de scent, and every kind of thing wey them make with ivory, special wood, copper, iron, and marble, 13  them still de sell cinnamon, Indian spice, incense, perfume oil, frankincense, wine, olive oil, better flour, wheat, cow, sheep, horse them, chariots, slaves, and other people.* 14  True-true, the better things wey you* be de enjoy no go reach your hand again,* all your sweet-sweet food and your fine-fine things don lost, and you no go ever see them again. 15  “The business men wey be sell this things and wey this woman make them rich, go stand for far place because them de fear say them go join-am suffer and them go cry and feel pain well-well, 16  de talk say: ‘This one really bad, e really bad, the great city, wey wear fine linen, purple, and red cloth, and wey them dress well make e fine with different-different things wey them make with gold, fine-fine stones and pearls, 17  because na under one hour all this things wey you don gather don go!’ “And all the ship captain them and all the people wey de travel for sea go different-different place and the sailor them, and all the people wey de work for sea to survive, stand for far place 18  and shout as them de see the smoke wey de come from the fire as e de burn and them talk say: ‘Which city be like the great city?’ 19  Them pour sand-sand for their head, and them shout, de cry, and the thing de pain them well-well, and them talk say: ‘This one really bad, e really bad, the great city, wey make all the people wey get ship for sea rich because of the plenty things wey e get, because na under one hour them take destroy-am!’ 20  “Make una happy, una wey dey heaven, even una wey be holy ones and apostles and prophets, because God don judge-am for una!” 21  And one strong angel carry one stone wey be like one big grinding stone, and e throw-am inside the sea and talk say: “Na this kind speed them go use troway Babylon the great city, and them no go ever see-am again. 22  And them no go ever hear the sound of people wey de sing and de play harp* as them de sing, people wey de blow flute and de blow trumpet and other kind of musicians from you again. And them no go ever see anybody wey de do any kind of hand work for inside you again, and them no go ever hear sound of grinding stone for inside you again. 23  No light from lamp go ever shine inside you again and them no go ever hear the voice of man wey de marry, and voice of woman wey de marry for inside you again, because na your business men them be the people wey be get high position for the earth, and you deceive all the nations with the things wey you de do with demons. 24  True-true, na for inside this woman, them see the blood of the prophets and the holy ones and all the people wey them don kill for this earth.
