Revelation 2:1-29
2 “Write to the angel of the congregation for Ephʹe·sus say: This na the things wey the person wey hold the seven stars for im right hand and wey de waka among the seven gold lampstands talk:
2 ‘I know the things wey you de do and the way you de work hard and de endure, and say you no de give bad people chance and you de test people wey talk say them be apostle but no be wetin them be, and you see say na lie-lie people them be.
3 You still de show say you de endure and you de bear many things because of my name, and you never tire.
4 But the problem wey I get with you be say, you no get the kind love wey you first get.
5 “‘So make you remember where you be dey before you fall, and repent and do the things wey you first de do. If you no do like that, I go come meet you and I go comot your lampstand from where e dey, unless you repent.
6 But e get one good thing wey you de do, and that one na say: you hate the things wey Nic·o·laʹus group de do, wey I hate too.
7 Make the person wey get ear hear wetin the spirit de tell the congregations say: Anybody wey win, I go allow-am chop from the tree of life wey dey for the paradise of God.’
8 “And make you write to the angel of the congregation for Smyrʹna say: This na the things wey the person wey be ‘the First and the Last,’ wey die and don come back to life talk:
9 ‘I know wetin you de suffer and say you dey poor, but even with that one, you dey rich. And I still know the bad things wey them don talk against you, people wey de call theirself Jew people, but no be wetin them be, instead them be synagogue of Satan.
10 Make you no fear the things wey you go soon suffer. See! The Devil go continue to put some of una for prison so that them go test una reach the end, and una go suffer for ten days. Make you show say you hold God tight, even if e mean say you go die, and I go give you the crown of life.
11 Make the person wey get ear hear wetin the spirit de tell the congregations say: Anybody wey win, the second death no go ever do-am anything.’
12 “Make you write to the angel of the congregation for Perʹga·mum say: This na the things wey the person wey get the sharp long sword, wey the two sides sharp talk:
13 ‘I know where you de stay, wey be, the place wey Satan throne dey. Even with that one, you still hold my name well and you no deny say you get faith for me, even for the time of Anʹti·pas, my faithful witness, wey them kill for una side, for the place wey Satan de stay.
14 “‘But e get some things wey I see say you no de do well, wey be, you allow people wey de follow the things wey Baʹlaam teach to dey there with you, Baʹlaam wey teach Baʹlak say make e put wetin go make Israel people fall for their front, say make them chop things wey them sacrifice to idols, and say make them put hand for sex wey no clean.*
15 Na so you still de allow the people wey de follow the things wey Nic·o·laʹus group de teach to dey with you.
16 So make you repent. If you no repent, I de come meet you quick-quick, and I go use the long sword wey dey my mouth fight them.
17 “‘Make the person wey get ear hear wetin the spirit de tell the congregations say: Anybody wey win, I go give-am some of the manna wey them hide, and I go give-am white stone, and them write one new name wey nobody know for this stone, apart from the person wey go collect-am.’
18 “Make you write to the angel of the congregation for Thy·a·tiʹra say: This na the things wey the Son of God talk, the one wey im eyes be like fire wey de burn well-well, and im leg be like pure copper:
19 ‘I know the things wey you de do, and your love and faith, and the things wey you de do for God, and the way you de endure, and I still know say the things wey you de do now, pass the ones wey you first do.
20 “‘But the problem wey I get with you be say, you de give that woman Jezʹe·bel chance, wey de call imself prophet, and e de teach and deceive my slaves say make them put hand for sex wey no clean,* and say make them chop things wey them sacrifice give idols.
21 And I give-am time to change but e no want comot hand from sex wey no clean.*
22 See! I go soon make-am sick well-well, and I go put all the people wey de sleep with-am* for serious trouble, unless them change and comot hand from the things wey e de make them do,
23 and I go use serious sickness kill im children so that everybody for the congregations go know say na me be the person wey de check people heart and wetin them de think for inside-inside their heart,* and na the things wey una de do I go look pay each of una.
24 But as for the rest of una wey dey for Thy·a·tiʹra, all the people wey no de follow the things wey Jezʹe·bel de teach, the people wey no know the things wey them de call the “deep things wey come from Satan,” I de tell una say: I no go put any other load ontop una.
25 But make una hold wetin una get tight until I come.
26 And as for anybody wey win, and follow the things wey I de do reach the end, I go give-am authority to rule the nations,
27 just as my Papa don give me authority, and e go use iron rod rule the people so that them go break to pieces, like something wey them use clay make.
28 And I go give-am the morning star.
29 Make the person wey get ear hear wetin the spirit de tell the congregations.’
